All, I could be wrong on this, but wanted to mention Big network could possibly be there for the Spring game only to interview/taking some excerpts from the game today.

Look for the Big Show at around 7pm PT/10pm ET this Saturday evening or Sunday.  Just look for the Big Show air date which would say April 28.  I am apologizing ahead of time if I am wrong.  But I believe the Big Network was working in an angle on the four teams from the Pac-12 joining the Big Ten.

Again, just wanted to give you a heads just in case I am correct.

To all who can make it to the Spring game/concert...ENJOY!

The BTN did a terrific job of previewing the Spring Game the past week. Jake Butt, All- American TE at Michigan and a guy who played in the NFL, believes that Oregon is the only B1G team that will pose a threat to Ohio State in 2024.

Moving from the Pac-12 Network to the Big Ten Network is like moving up from Single-A to The Show.  50 million plus fans subscribe to BTN.

Neither offence is in rhythm yet. Dante is actually looking a bit sharper. A 49 yard field goal is encouraging.

I was really hoping to see more accuracy from Gabriel on the longer throws.  It's been really erratic so far.

My first half reactions:

All QB's that have played can nail the check downs

Timing is off on throws 20+ yards with all QB's

Dante Moore is gonna be a stud

Defensive line is very impressive

One of the more physical spring games I have seen

Tez is electric!

It looks like we have a kicker!

Too many injuries 😭.

Novaosad looks good.

Furg, stop dropping balls! 🏈 👐🏻

This team looks evenly matched on both sides of the ball.

Moore looks comfortable, and DG can't seem to get the         long ball going.

Punters/Kickers looking good 👍🏻

All in all, I echo what Coach said at halftime about how there's some positive things, and there are some negative things to clean up.

Ducks looked good though, for a Spring Game!

It's gonna be another great year with all the experience and talent we have in playmakers on this team.

Bring it on B1G!! Go Ducks! 🦆

Streams have been known to go awry, on occasion. As often as not, it seems to be traceable to operator error...

They seem much deeper with some youngsters that will get solid minutes. To be able to compete at top level in Big10 teams must be deep.

I thought Moga look very good.

Disagree.  I watch every Oregon Baseball game, and the Oregon streams are excellent and consistent.  Other schools, including the Pac-12 Network at times have been spotty, and I know how to operate things, and have done so for years.

Savage, Holden, and Mixon hurt.  Ugh.

But otherwise, it was a fun and productive scrimmage.  The Ducks looked great, and it was fun to watch Travis Dye leading the Shout dance once again.

I was pretty stoked with what I saw. I think we'll have a legit group of guys at every position group. The D made it pretty hard for the O to move the ball. It seems like defensive technique is usually slower to develop than offense so I'll take that as a good sign the D will be ready by the opener. All four QBs look ready for minutes I could give props to every one of them which hasn't been the case in the past.

I think being in the mix to win the BIG is a legit possibility. The crowd had good energy. It won't be long until Puddles owns the BIG 10 Network!

I couldn't catch the game live but watched it delayed, here are my notes:

It was a bit jarring to how different this team is this year. The turnover of talent was much more obvious than I expected. There is serious work to do to become an efficient unit on offense, and the staff definitely has it's work cut out to select a two deep that can work cohesively as a team.

I've never seen so many runs in a spring game. Usually they are minimized to prevent injuries. I think it's two things, 1 having enough expendable RBs on the roster and 2 an extra intensional focus on the run game going into the B1G, as previously mentioned by Stein at least. Worth an article by itself.

Surprised by the level of violence in the play. It was violent compared to in season games let alone a spring game against your own teammates. It came from everywhere and everyone. Offense, Defense, starters, walk-ons, and even the true freshmen.

It was clear last year that James has been running with bad intentions, but jeez instead of heading out of bounds he knocked Savage out cold.

Kyler Kasper is legendary, I mean legend has it he has caught a pass, but I've never seen it. I'm certainly hoping that changes, that he can show up when the lights are on. Being excellent in practice isn't worth much.

Bryant is an enigma, he typically seems a little lost when running routes, but as soon as the ball is in his hands, he knows exactly where he is and what to do with it. He's the best true running back in the team with his sense of spacing, feel and quickness in tight spaces; too bad he's stuck in a receivers body. Give the man some tunnel screens this year Stein.

This is the most powerful DL Oregon has ever had. We have elite OL but the pocket was consistently collapsed. Bullrushes to oblivion from every position. I wasn't expecting that. Perhaps the OL were overthinking things at the snap, rather than playing nasty, but it was so consistent, hard to explain away.

There was also little room to run. That didn't stop Jay Harris from being productive. He is who we wanted Dowdell to be. He is 6.2 and 215, but he runs like he is much lighter than that. His size shows up when he refuses to go down.

Yeah I missed the 4th quarter which is a bit of a.shame because that's when there were some big offensive fireworks by the look of it.

Look at the bright side...

Never have to use Pac-12 network ever again!

I highly doubt that Oregon v Oregon state will ever be relegated to the pac-12 network as Oregon would have a fit about that and the B1G.

Several good points and observations made here. There seemed to be some consternation about Gabriel and Moore expressed in the comments section of a couple of other sites.

What I saw at the game was that the Dline played well and beat the fragmented Oline enough so that all QBs had to hurry throws a bit. The DBs and LBs had good coverage and there weren't that many open looks. One 'badly overthrown' DG pass early I believe was intentional, as the primary coverage was good and the safety was converging fast. A tighter throw may have been picked.

Novosad made the biggest mistake by throwing at Dickey right into similar coverage, resulting in the Flowers pick. Moore had some nice throws, one uncharacteristically dropped by TFerg that killed a drive. It made Moore look a bit pedestrian even though he had made the right read.

I don't think there are any bad takeaways on the QB play. The difference lies on defense, primarily with the two deep in the first half, where they came to play hard and fast. Interior Dline and Edge did their jobs and put pressure on the offense.

That said, some real nice offensive WR play by Stewart, Tez and Lowe. The RBs were running hard, perhaps a bit too much so with Savage escorted to the locker room after a brutal pop by James. Harris is going to be a part of this offense one way or another. He is a bulldozer once he gets a step. Not going to make a LeGarrette Blount comparison just yet but the combination of size, speed and brute force is something Oregon hasn't had since Royce and JStew.

Add to that a 49yd down the middle FG with plenty to spare. All in all the day didn't have some of the flash of previous spring games, but there sure was a lot to like in all facets of the game from veterans and newcomers alike.

Just finished watching the Spring Game a few minutes ago. This team looks very impressive to me. I think we have 4 QB's who could start for us. A couple of lesser names stood out. How about Justius Lowe and Jay Harris? Many looked good and Tez looked like he was ready to repeat his great performances of last year. GO DUCKS!
