That was an amazing catch by Trashon!

How was that not unnecessary roughness/roughing the passer?  DG got lit up after he released the ball.

Well, can’t say that 1st quarter wasn’t exciting or dramatic lol

DG is not making good decisions in the redzone, which is surprising for someone with as much experience as he has. Trying to force it too much. Need to run the ball!

Dillon is going to have to wake up.

Good grief, not sure what’s going on with DG but he needs to stop playing down to the competition.

How loud it gets in Autzen always amazes me.  One would think that it couldn’t possibly get nearly as loud as some of the huge stadiums of the B1G or the SEC, but it does.  Really cool!!!

On the positive, our offensive line looks fantastic and James is having his best game in an Oregon uniform.  Keep it going.  Not a single pass on the last TD drive.

What a formation on that TD.  Tuioti in motion with Connerly in the slot. Can’t wait to see what else comes out of that formation in the future.

James is awesome!  As I’ve stated before, I was really looking forward to watching him play in the Red & Black.  In truth though, I very much enjoy watching him tote the rock for the Ducks!  James has always been very good, but I think it’s possible we might be witnessing him transition into an in fact Elite RB this season!

Unfortunately no.  I’ve never even been to Oregon.  I’ve traveled all over the country and Canada for work, actually lived in Canada for years but never had the time for much leisure traveling.  I will someday though.  I very much want to spend some time in Oregon and unless something happens, I will absolutely see some games in Autzen in the future!

The defense is playing how Coach Lanning and Coach Lupoi envisioned - wrecking havoc on the line, flying around, making tackles and playing tight coverage on the backend.  What a difference from when Coach Lanning took over the program.  Might be the strength of the team right now.

He took a sack on the first drive of this game that was clearly his fault... He lingered in the pocket for WAY too long and got hit.

That would be great!  I’m looking forward to seeing my Dawgs and my Ducks go at it.  
 

In truth though, as much as I love the Ducks, I’m a lifelong GA fan and I could never not pull for my Dawgs.  When I do finally make it to Autzen for the first time I want to be able to get decked out in my Ducks attire and experience it as a full fledged Ducks fan.  Although, I’d love to also visit with my Dawgs as well.  So I guess I’m just gonna have to do both.😂  

 

As I’ve posted many times on this forum, I’ve been a Ducks fan since the early to mid 2000’s.  It started in part because I couldn’t stand USC and to me the Ducks were the answer, but I have since grown to become a true Oregon fan and I’ve always rooted for the Ducks since this time.  Oregon hiring Dan Lanning was a great cherry on the top of my being a Duck fan, but The Ducks have been my #2 team for a long time and the only other CFB team I consider myself a fan of.

I understand that. But he’s too old and experienced to force passes in such contested coverage. He needs to throw it away if it’s not there.

I will say that it’ll be a pleasant surprise if the defense completely shuts out MSU for the game.

I don’t know about way off but he does seem a bit out of sync with everyone except Tez Johnson for the most part.

 

That short pass into the slot with Tez seems like a bread and butter play that MSU just can’t stop.

Attack the edges with the run game... 

 

That's where we've made a ton of our yardage. The middle is pretty stout but the edges are vulnerable.

Is the turf in Autzen getting a little dingy? It doesn’t look good on tv. The contrast with the vibrant B1G logo is stark.

I’ve noticed the same thing! Doesn’t look near as crisp or vibrant as the past.
