I have made a major change in how we will moderate our GameDay threads. Bottom line, is that you will be allowed to spew your frustration, to vent, as you wish.

But Note the Parameters:

--This is for GameDay threads only; you have to behave in the regular forum threads as in the past.

--You cannot take shots at those who disagree with you, just like in the forum during the week.

Remember how we discussed this upfront in this thread.

They want to start the second half with the ball. Classic attempt to score at the end of the half and then score on the first possession of the second half. Most teams do this now.

I prefer this approach as well, Lanning usually defers to the second half.

It looked like the defender was leading with his helmet but I could be mistaken.

Alright, redeemed himself a bit there. We're close, we're very close to breaking through, D has to keep up their performance. Would be big to get a 3 and out and then TD before the half.

Pretty much, we've executed better, but we've also had some strange play calls. Stein is always throwing too many WR screens.

Moore has been good, but he's also been a little off at times, nothing major, but he can play better, thrown off his back foot a couple times.

Sadiq running wide open on two 3rd downs and Moore doesn’t see him. Ugh.

The game and atmosphere as advertised so far

My Score prediction was 21-20---WAY to HIGH

Looks like we are officially a BIG team now.

Happy and frustrated at the same time, you look at the yardage and we should be up by at least a score, defense has played their best game against a top 5 opponent.....well ever so far. Offense is close, but the play calling has to be better at times, and we have to finish plays.

This is the sort of game we've criticized other teams as boring, but when you're in it, it feels like a heavyweight fight 😂

Offensive coaching is bad on both sides--maybe we see some adjustments at half time?

Ducks D should be able to force a turn-over eventually.🤞

189 -69 in total yards, a missed field goal could have been the lead for the Ducks. I have to think if Oregon dominates the yardage in the second half like the first we still win by 10 or 14.

Gotta get some points out of moving the ball though.

It all comes down to when one of these teams starts playing chess football with some proper execution--until then were watching old school SEC football.

One thing I noticed was that Oregon had multiple instances of coming up half a yard short on 3rd downs. They need to push just a bit more and the complexity of the game changes.

Haven’t converted yards into scores, yet. But really like the focus - they’re putting the puzzle together, one piece at a time, beginning to open the door. Shock and awe time?
