Posted October 29, 20222 yr Administrator Here we are my friends, the thread for discussing the actual game as it happens. Let's discuss before, and during the game! The vast majority of you are GREAT in this thread, but you must remember that this forum is different, as we require civilized discussion. Rule No. 31d covers GameDay thread conduct, and it is not hard for the vast majority of us--just a tiny few who need to reign it in. Let's Have Fun Posting During the Game! Mr. FishDuck
October 29, 20222 yr Dadgum... Underwhelming 1st quarter, so far. Hope Cota is ok! Edited October 29, 20222 yr by woundedknees
October 29, 20222 yr Moderator Offense seems to be out of sync. Masa's false start really messed up that last drive. As good as he is, he seems to be causing a lot of false starts this season.

October 29, 20222 yr Moderator That stadium isn't anywhere remotely close to full so noise shouldn't be an issue. Don't know why the OL is so skittish, two false start penalties already.
October 29, 20222 yr I think James would have gotten a touchdown on that run too if he had the ball in his hands instead of Nix. A touchdown is touchdown so it's all good.
October 29, 20222 yr Also the ducks went back to the run game which has helped now. The trend can be that if Oregon gets too pass happy we start to hurt ourselves. Need to keep that run game going.

October 29, 20222 yr Moderator I think Nix was getting a bit frustrated so he took matters into his own hands on that one. That's fine with me, I'd rather he get it out on a short play here than him trying to do long ball heroics elsewhere. Good decision.
October 29, 20222 yr Moderator Secondary is now getting outplayed. Way too many long pass completions on that drive.
October 29, 20222 yr Oregon will win, but it's a shame our defense is so soft and appears to have decided to mail it in today.
October 29, 20222 yr The defense needs to get that pass rush working again. That big play feels like the pass rush kinda gave up on the play.
October 29, 20222 yr Looks like the Ex-Ducks coaches on the other side are more ready than Lanning and co... Hope we wake up soon!
October 29, 20222 yr So much for my score prediction. So much for 2 high safeties preventing the long ball. So much for our explosive offense. Hopefully we'll get it rolling now.
October 29, 20222 yr Moderator L-o-n-g way to go. Concerned, but not worried. Talent will win out. Edited October 29, 20222 yr by jrw

October 29, 20222 yr Moderator WRs not paying attention, very unfocused. Hutson drops a wide open pass into his hands and Franklin loses his pass the defense for an INT. The coaches need to wake these players up.
