Here we are my friends, the thread for discussing the actual game as it happens.

Let's discuss before, and during the game!

The vast majority of you are GREAT in this thread, but you must remember that this forum is different, as we require civilized discussion. Rule No. 31d covers GameDay thread conduct, and it is not hard for the vast majority of us--just a tiny few who need to reign it in.

Let's Have Fun Posting During the Game!

3 and out is a little disappointing

Dadgum... Underwhelming 1st quarter, so far.

Hope Cota is ok!

Always take the points on the road.

DL should have took the pts and kicked the FG.

Offense seems to be out of sync. Masa's false start really messed up that last drive. As good as he is, he seems to be causing a lot of false starts this season.

Gotta establish the run game.

Wow this offense is so out of sync today. Really hard to watch so far..

Nix doesn't look so swift to start, his passes are off.

That ball was in hutson's hands...

Good on that pass.  SMH at Hutson.

Last week, I don't think the Ducks had any drops.

DJ is playing a hell of a game!

Nix had more TD passes than incompletions last week. So yeah... No drops... At least nothing dramatic.

Fixed an auto correct

Oh my they are beating themselves.  Time to wake up and get into gear.

That stadium isn't anywhere remotely close to full so noise shouldn't be an issue. Don't know why the OL is so skittish, two false start penalties already.

Coach needs to get this turned around.

Nice read by Nix.

I think James would have gotten a touchdown on that run too if he had the ball in his hands instead of Nix.

A touchdown is touchdown so it's all good.

Also the ducks went back to the run game which has helped now.

The trend can be that if Oregon gets too pass happy we start to hurt ourselves. Need to keep that run game going.

Yeah. Prolly.  It wasn't a gimme by any means too.  Nix had to evade one defender.

How was that not pass int

I think Nix was getting a bit frustrated so he took matters into his own hands on that one.

That's fine with me, I'd rather he get it out on a short play here than him trying to do long ball heroics elsewhere. Good decision.

Where is all that track speed Manning??

Wow is this getting ridiculous

CBs losing the battle.

Oregon is going to get humbled if they don't start taking Cal serious.

Secondary is now getting outplayed. Way too many long pass completions on that drive.

Oregon will win, but it's a shame our defense is so soft and appears to have decided to mail it in today.

The defense needs to get that pass rush working again. That big play feels like the pass rush kinda gave up on the play.

Ducks need to settle into their game.  Run the dang ball!

Looks like the Ex-Ducks coaches on the other side are more ready than Lanning and co... Hope we wake up soon!

Gonna be one of those games.

So much for my score prediction.  So much for 2 high safeties preventing the long ball.  So much for our explosive offense.  Hopefully we'll get it rolling now.

L-o-n-g way to go. Concerned, but not worried. Talent will win out.

Our WRs have cost us 14pts on two drops. They better focus

Not good.  Nix is throwing in some tight windows today.

Ugly

Franklin got popped as he was trying to secure the ball.

receivers need to start holding on to those balls,    or it could be a long game,

WRs not paying attention, very unfocused. Hutson drops a wide open pass into his hands and Franklin loses his pass the defense for an INT. The coaches need to wake these players up.

On second look, Franklin should have had that.

Sewell wanted an int

Saw the replay, he didn't even get to secure the ball. It bounced right off his chest.

Good news is our D line is unstoppable. They are shredding this Cal O Line

Defense saving the day

DJ Johnson has been the lone bright spot on defense so far.

Hope things get better.
