Here we are my friends, the thread for discussing the actual game as it happens.

Let's discuss before, and during the game!

The vast majority of you are GREAT in this thread, but you must remember that this forum is different, as we require civilized discussion. Rule No. 31d covers GameDay thread conduct, and it is not hard for the vast majority of us--just a tiny few who need to reign it in.

Let's Have Fun Posting During the Game!

Go Ducks!

Enough Chris Peterson. Hate that guy

Great start by the D

Got to love Bucks moves!

Edited by Dave23

Bucky Irving with the TD... The guy really should have had more TDs this year but usually he was subbed out at the goal line.

He deserves that score and he is a beast!

Great start for Ducks. 3 and out with a sack, -14 yards. Offense drives it down the field for 7.

Any decent streaming options?

DISH decided to get into a contract dispute with FOX this week!

Thanks to virtually every local affiliate moving their broadcast center to Blanton heights, I now live in a black hole!

You could do a 7 day free trial on many of the streaming services that have local channels. I use youtube tv.

Anything new on the defensive side? Seeing more QB pressure than normal.

Bridges made a great play. Can't play it any better than that.

Good stop there.

Bucky is the man!!

Which TE made the block that sprung that?

Cam McCormick. Love that guy.

McCormick was TE.  Bass with 2nd block and Cota with 3rd block. Bucky with excellent vision and  breakaway speed.

I'm watching the game on regular old free YouTube. Just search for it

I'm in StreamEast... Very solid/clear connection.

I coached soccer for years... Not glad to see it on the field of play, especially against OBD!

The TD just adds insult to injury.

Ugh.  I don't know why we didn't run it there.  They haven't been able to stop the run, we have 45 sec, 2 timeouts left, and have 2nd and about 5 from the 15 or so.  Why put it at risk.

Well that was a horrendous turn of events…

Ugh.

Absolute worst sequence of events I've ever seen to finish a half.

Ugly!  Why give up on the run game?  When are we going to give up the bend don't break defense?  Its broken!  Insanity!

We get the ball first but we have to tighten up 3rd and 4th down defense. Also RUN WHAT WORKS!! Run it till it doesn't work-take a lesson from Jonathan Smith.!!!

I agree Smith72, that one really frustrated me because I'm literally talking at my TV set before that play that we need to just run it again.  They couldn't stop the run.  We had 2 timeouts and 40 sec left, 2nd and 5 from their 16.  Just don't put it at risk.  Heartbreaking.

Not sure why they are making a 3 yard pass in the red zone with time running down when you are averaging over 25 yards a run play. Very confusing to me. Once again our pass defense is letting us down.

Still got the second half to turn this around.

They have a stud at QB that’s for sure. He is pitching dimes all over the field.

This team is a good, not great team.  The defense cannot make a stop on 3rd or 4th down, and for some reason they are not giving the NC QB respect with his ability to scramble.

We need a complete overhaul of our defense.  Unless we get more proven transfers, unfortunately, it could take a couple of years.  Hope Oregon's offense can continue to put up points because we are going to need it to win.

I know it's nice to spread the ball around but just give it Bucky.

Drake Maye prob will play on Sundays.  And loss of D players for this game doesn’t bode well…..and hopefully the massive signing and portal turnover will address the D the way DL is planning

Maybe DL said he's going to get everyone involved?

But, will we see halftime adjustments by DL & Company?

Problem is the defense still has the same problems it has had all year long. I doubt there is much they can really do to actually fix these problems right now. Well there probably are some ways of doing it but are you going to do it without three starters?

Im not that sure that our players are at fault, seems that the coaches are not reading into NC offense as they should.

So much for winning the middle 8

Anyone else getting annoyed how the commentators harp on how UNC doesn't have their OC but they don't say a word about Oregon being without our OC????

Not really. But I am annoyed at how our Ducks are playing.

What’s up with our pass game. Dink and dunk. If your going to throw throw it down the field.

Bo ain't Bo this evening.

Bo is having a bad game. Very Bad.

Clearly he has not recovered from his injury. He's not even able to slide properly.

Bo still doesn't look right when he runs. I think he still has an issue with that ankle

Does not appear we have the capability to throw the ball DOWN the field, only sideways or backward...no reason for UNC not to load up against the run

The play calling has been pretty bad too... no Dillingham is really showing right now.

I do feel Lanning did the right thing going for an outside hire.

Nix is also not running which is hurting us as well but no need to risk him re-injuring an ankle for a bowl game.

Bo hasn't looked sharp. Hope he can turn it around.

Looks like a CMC playbook.

The defense has really played fairly well this game. The offense...

Cota forgot he was playing on a soft field. He should have fielded that ball.
