  2. Nix told him it was the third time he had suffered a fractured ankle in his football career, including once in high school and once when Nix was at Auburn.
  3. If he didn’t break it on the kneel down he certainly aggravated it then.
  4. Definitely a depth piece. Johnson is returning and will be a beast. Olesh from PSU has lots of potential but will need to learn the system. Plenty of time for that for sure. Kendre Harrison is massive at 6'7" but will need to put on some eight for sure as an incoming freshman. With only three tight ends the room was going to be thin. But adding another will definitely create some depth. I'm surprised that Vander Ploog and Roger Saleapaga both opted for the portal when Sadiq was moving on and Johnson was the only returning starter and Harrison was the incoming frosh. Lots of space for them to carve out roles for themselves with expirenced in the Lanning system.

  6. Not a lot of details other than second to last play before pass to Mims. Bo Nix injury: Broncos QB suffers season-ending ankle injury in win over Bills - CBS Sports
  7. Was it the roughing the passer Bosa push??
  8. ESPN.comBroncos QB Bo Nix fractures ankle, out for rest of playoffsBroncos quarterback Bo Nix will miss the remainder of the playoffs after fracturing his ankle in overtime of Saturday's 33-30 win over the Buffalo Bills, Payton said.
  9. https://www.denverpost.com/2026/01/17/broncos-bo-nix-season-ending-ankle-injury/ Dang. My heart is broken for him after he balled out all season and got the #1 seed.
  10. I totally agree about the pass protection. They did the same thing twice, and we didn't adjust. We got a glimpse against TTU, and we didn't adjust. I saw a play when we max protected, but didn't chip the end,..sacked. I saw the same stunts and pushing linemen off balance on purpose...sack fumble. We have the brain power to adjust, even if not completely. But Indiana faced the same issue in 24' and did adjust (in fact they took a part of that playbook and used it themselves). I saw Lupoi adjust, but players were slow to respond by inches (same on offense). We succeed by adjusting to our failures against teams as good as we are. OBD aren't competing against lessor talent anymore. The season is about preparing for every playoff caliber team during the regular season. That is my philosophy. The analysts are there to thoroughly scout every elite team and playoff caliber team, as well as NFL strategies (if you can't stop it in the NFL...). Practice should have at least 20 minutes dedicated to preparing for those teams. Every practice. We may face close regular season games, but muscle memory is developed over months. Killer mentality is as well (to take care of lessor talented teams). I'm not sure many coaches feel that way. Why would they when they consider themselves elite already. I feel that way because those are the teams that defeat you. They are the only teams Lanning has lost to. Thus... I love this forum. If I were Lanning, I'd have daily sessions talking about these very topics with my core strategists. I know I'm getting feedback to think about every time I come to this forum. Imagine what Dan can cull from such discussions. Go Ducks.
  11. He had an injured hamstring. They really missed him because another WR, Bryant, got a concussion.
  12. I couldn't watch. I didn't see Franklin in box score. Is he ok?
  13. Bo had the record with 12 comeback wins this season. Add one more to the record. 👍👌😍
  14. What a great game! Bo made some incredible throws today and led that team!! Yes, I am a Broncos fan (and was before Bo), but having Bo, Troy, and Forsyth makes it even better!
  15. WOW! It's one thing to steal a player who signed on with Wisconsin. But for Miami to poach a QB from conference member Duke, after missing on QBs in the portal? COME ON HOOSIERS! $1.9 million QB posts farewell note amid college football controversy
  16. Played on the D line at Clemson, but will be a TE in Eugene.
  17. Bo Nix leads Denver to 1st playoff win of his career. Close game. Two good QB's Key play was strip interception against former OSU Beaver Brandin Cooks. Once again a Duck prevails over a Beaver!
  18. What I liked best was his pass coverage, like a good CB, the ball didn't get thrown his way a lot as he was generally in good position. That being said, Wyatt looks faster, hopefully he has those coverage instincts.

  20. People need more time to save up for the exorbitant ticket prices.
  21. But was he already getting pushed out by Wyatt? Purchase redshirted last year and Wyatt haa entered the rotation as a change of pace edge rusher. I would rather have Purchase on the roster but with both ends returning and Wyatt and maybe even Rushing pushing him from below how safe was his position on the two deep?
  22. The patients are now running the asylum, and have created their own formula: 1) get recruited and sign letter of intent, but remember who also wanted you. 2) wait. 3) enter transfer portal. 4) sign with one of those who also wanted you (or someone else) for a boat load of NIL $$. And who can blame them? They’ve just flipped the script, and taken advantage of the greed that now has college football by the short hairs.
  23. One thing to seriously consider: Raiola isn't sitting behind a 5 year veteran like Nix or Gabriel to learn from. He's going to be next to a peer that's roughly at the same level of development in their respective careers. OBD better hire one heck of a QB coach soon.
