  1. Past hour
  2. There’s the Mario I know. Third and long, run it into the line for minimal gain and punt into the end zone for a touchback.
  3. I really question what the hell they’re doing at practice at this point, knowing how thin we are in that spot.
  4. I think they need a 3rd column for the bowl games "QUIT ON THEIR TEAM"
  5. Well, well, well. How the turntables... Demond Williams Jr. won't transfer, will stay at Washington - ESPN "I am fully committed and focused on contributing to what we are building," [Williams] wrote as part of an Instagram post. 🙄
  6. Thursday's (Non) Availability Report. Friday's will be 90 minutes before kickoff.
  7. Miami moving the ball early. Didn't appear Cristobal had his head phones on until they got inside the 25....then they settled for a FG.
  8. Ole Miss wins the toss and takes the kick! Total CK move!
  9. I’m rooting for Ole Miss. Aside from watching Mario face plant, the team without a coaching staff is hard to root against.
  10. Who do you want to see the Ducks play assuming they advance to the NC? I'm going with the U for many reasons, no SEC, a chance to beat Mario and I believe they would be a better matchup for the Ducks.
  11. I think Miss wins. Beck shows his flaws and Chambliss dazzles again despite the pass rush. I'm honestly not sure who I'd want to face in the Natty.
  12. Hill, his role just got a lot bigger on the biggest stage he's ever played on. The run game is going to be pivotal in this matchup.
  13. I'll be watching Dante Moore most. He has the highest ceiling and lowest floor against this team.
  14. Today
  15. Some misinformation in this thread. Dan is the one that prevents portal players from playing in any more games. The portal window is just the window to enter. You can still be picked up by a team after the portal closes.
  16. If Oregon makes it to the championship game, I think that will be played on January 19th. Transfer portal closes on January 16th so Harris would be gone by then (unless for some reason he decides to withdraw his name from the portal and stay at Oregon).
  17. Running back group. In particular Noah Wittingham and Jay Harris (assuming he plays).
  18. Given that we're going to make it to national championship game, does anybody know if he can stick around for that one too? I just can't imagine getting that far and walking away. However, money is a powerful and motivating tool.
  19. Yesterday
  20. Kenyon Sadiq, under utilized for the last three or four games, will get more targets, and probably some plays in the backfield for pass protection.
  21. It's been a while since I've been on here but I'm curious who you're watching outside of the obvious to make a difference tomorrow night. Mine is Alex Harkey. He certainly is a badass but a bit mistake prone and loose cannon. I hope I'm wrong but Indiana's pass rush was the difference last game imo and hope he isn't exposed again. Please feel free to correct me so I feel better about that matchup!
  22. Saturday Down South's Matt Hayes on MIA/ Ole Miss and OBD/IU semifinals I'm hoping both of Matt's picks are lost in a haze of Rebels and Ducks. Saturday Down SouthSDS' Ultimate CFP Semifinals Preview: Everything you need...College football's Final Four is here. Ole Miss vs. Miami. Indiana vs. Oregon. Matt Hinton previews each semifinal and picks the winners.
  23. I wish James had stayed still in State College. Matt Campbell with these resources ... Matt 1-0 vs. OBD and Mario. https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/matt-campbell-penn-state-transfer-portal-iowa-state-players/?ftag=SNL-04-10aaa0b&ET_CID=515074&ET_RID=52482716
  24. Thanks for the update. I really hope Lanning lit up his analysts and his new coordinators. As far as I'm concerned, they should be handling a huge load of prep for this week. Obviously, you'd like Stein and Lupoi dialed in, but that is unrealistic given they have massive responsibilities with their new jobs. I have only had maybe six hours this week to study. I'm tired. I'm going into surgery tomorrow morning (non invasive thank God, but it's still surgery). I have a lot on my mind. Even if I was going into surgery and had to coach, I'd be sleeping 3 hours a night max. I can rest when I'm dead as far as I'm concerned. We may never have another Semi final appearance (doubt it). That's my take. This staff has got to drill the players with the best information, providing the best simulations possible. And of course, its the same for the players. The players need the rest, but they certainly can put in overtime hours to prep for this game. I'm making sure Dante Moore throws as many uncomfortable passes possible until he is comfortable (with being uncomfortable and executing precisely). The coaches are allowed a limited time every week with the players, so how they prep the team (and get the players to do the extra homework) really matters. Indiana is foolproof, not unbeatable. We have more talent across the board, and if applied, we should be able to cake walk this game-even against a machine like Indiana. I am telling anybody that visits this forum for decorum, we only need to execute to win. If and only if we max out tomorrow? Nobody can beat this team. Not Ohio State at its best, and especially Indiana. Two games. This one first. I expect some injuries this week because I expect the hardest hitting I've ever seen out of OBD. It matters that much (take that SEC). If I ever thought I could really coach when I was in my twenties, I would be savoring every second of this era. We are witnessing excellence on a different level. After Alabama got smoked, Kalen Deboer said there is a fine line between excellence and failure. I watched that game in full finally. Even with Bama's outright flaws, they should have been in that game. They are good enough to beat Indiana. That's how good Indiana has been. But they haven't met their match in execution. I want to see that tomorrow.
  25. In the end, showing some loyalty to your team may add more NIL value due to character than ditching them mid playoff run will. Potentially scoring the championship winning touchdown wouldn't hurt either. Here's to hoping "Harris was down!" is the Miami barstool lament for years to come.
