I think on offense we’ll keep improving. Our best playmakers are the youngsters and eventually they’ll all start,3rd down conversions have reflected youth to date imo. Dante just took a quantum leap forward beyond dominating terrible teams and being on cruise control. He was fantastic. Pass D is a menace, run D is just fine…most teams aren’t Penn State’s rushing attack and we looked damn good on that front for 3 quarters at least.

My favorite post-game moment was watching Dante and Dan embrace in an emotional celebration. In-game? How about Thieneman sending Allar and Franklin to Dante's 7th circle? 🤬Deja Vu? Instead of jumping somewhere for playing time and starting QB money, Dante made the choice to improve his skills. Dante Moore made a mature decision, rare for today's game and players, to improve his game, and he has done so. I loved the post-game moments with Dante and Dan on the field; both men were emotional. Game at a time. Run the gauntlet to a title in Miami, and that's 11 more wins needed to win it all. OBD definitely earned a PO mulligan last night. 10-2 and Oregon is in the field, even if SC and UW aren't, as someone predicted, ranked. Lincoln Riley scored too early, and UW couldn't score. Three Blue Chip Roster teams lost yesterday; Oregon did not. Yesterday was a banner day for PO selection and seeding. With the PO champ game in Miami, I want Mari-oh-oh! 😁 Dream On!

I was most surprised at the poise of Dante Moore, as he was the QB who looked like the three-year starter, not Allar. We need to somehow free-up the long ball, the Bird-Bombs to stretch the defense and open up more of the offense, IMHO.

As a high school teacher I'll say this... If you had the question it means someone else had the question as well. So thanks for asking. Also... I kinda like random rules stuff. Not going to claim being a rules expert but I remember some really random and fringe rules that come up.

They would have scored 2 points. Oddly enough this sort of question came up during the 2012 Fiesta bowl when Kansas State picked up a missed extra point. If anyone is interested I can break down that instance as it's a little stranger. Only 2 points were at play during the 2 point attempt so if Penn State ran it back they would have scored two. Which means it would still be OT because they would still down 30-26 and have their offensive attempt. If they scored a TD in this scenario they would not need to try a 2 points attempt and win at that point. Basically, the amount of points at play depends on what part of the game is being played. It was a 2 point attempt, thus two only points at play because it was not a normal down. Keep in mind as well that on extra point attempts the clock does not run. Whereas, something like that time when Auburn returned a missed field goal by Bama allowed them to score a touchdown because it was a regular down situation and a max of 6 points was available on any live snap.

Touching my wooden desk as I type this - As long as we play as hard and smart as the first 50 minutes and the last 5 minutes of last night, we will get it done this year! This Ducks team is deep and talented enough to beat anyone. Plus we clearly have the best HC to lead and motivate. Go Ducks!

Shamefully, this old Duck fan picked PSU to win in a close game. Mostly because i am a bad picker and OBD's do the opposite of my pick. They did not fail me.! Last nights dominant defensive performance gives me hope to dream of a Natty victory this year. Can they stay focused and continue to improve? I am confident they will. PSU's DC took the long pass play away from Oregon. They kept everything in front of them, however the Duck running game kept the chains moving. Eventually a very composed Moore found the short and intermediate passing routes for 3 TD passes. The in game adjustments that were sometimes missing in previous seasons were not missing in this game. The Duck O performed and excelled on the big stage! As a fan, i am confident they will improve even more. Especially with Moore, Moore and the baby freshmen. Go Ducks! Some of the Duck running backs may be at the redshirt threshhold and decisions will be made. However, as others have posted, Hill and Davison have earned their playing time. But we have 11 or 12 games to go before we can raise the trophy we all dream of, so I think DL will spread those carries around to keep players fresh. I hope that the Ducks take care of business in the first half so our backup QB's get meaningful game snaps. Go Ducks! Another top 10 team is coming to town in 2 weeks.

For a redshirt if he still has his redshirt. Of which I don't know. But if that's the case what a story. The transfer get beat out by freshman. It's true when Dan says come to compete... He means it.

I woke up and I still can’t believe how well the run defense played yesterday. If they can continue to play like that, Oregon has a legit shot to beat anyone in the country. I love that we shortened the RB bench to Whit, Limar, Hill, and Davison. I believe those 4 are the best in that room. I suspect Hill and Davison will start to get a larger share of the carries as the year goes on. We already know we have the best coach in the country. But do we have the best QB too?? Moore was so calm and just picked them apart. That was outstanding.
