  4. Considering the track record of Indiana's offense...holding them to 27 points is a good result, and it should not have been too much to ask the offense to score 28 or more. I noticed they tested the other freshman, RS freshman Iffy, and while they caught him with some interference...overall he played much better than a RS freshman would be expected to. We played senior Theran Johnson at corner often, (Northwestern portal transfer) and he had his difficulties with the Hoosier offense, but also made some plays. Thanks Alex, for a reminder about Brandon Finney Jr., (below) and I'd like to think that our newbie corners made some strides in technique and experience from what they learned from such a big game. It will help for when they face the upcoming passing games, such as Rutgers this week.
  5. Thanks Alex, always look forward to reading your thoughts. For me, our outstanding player was Bryce Boettcher. He was always playing his normal outstanding linebacker role.
  6. Just that the women had the exact same score, but the total points wasn't given. However, they did go 1, 2, 3, 4 & 6
  7. On Monday the press corps asked Dan Lanning what happened. What could Dante Moore and the offense have done better? Was it the Indiana defensive scheme, or an issue with his reads? The wheel route was open twice for big gains early in the game. The play shown in this video had two ducks open with one defender between them. The wheel route to the running back (Davison?) would have been a touchdown! Autzen ZooDan Lanning explains Oregon's offensive collapse against...It was Oregon's first loss at home in 19 games, and one of the worst in recent memory.

  9. Yes, it was Limar who took the hit to the head. I believe Dante Moore took a hit to the knee during the Penn State game. He limped off the field. That was borderline personal foul on the quarterback which would have been called in the NFL.
  10. I thought that was Limar who took that hit.
  11. Our Oregon football program suffered a disappointing and stunning loss in Eugene against Indiana. Oregon got all-around beaten in their own place, and it was hard to watch for Duck fans. Fortunately, the season didn’t end this weekend, and one shining star elevated MASSIVELY in the moment. Brandon Finney didn’t play a perfect game by any means. However, he did ... 12. I gotta say JJ that I wonder what parameters you feed to AI to retrieve the wealth on information included in your opening post, lol! I'll also note that it is silly season re ranking anomalies and nobody should be surprised--happens every year. I'd love to see what the new and improved RPI-like computer index that is supposed to be consulted for playoff purposes looks like at this point. Though that will change as much football remains to be played and college football is less transitive than it used to be.
  13. They'll continue with the big buyouts because they think they have to for success at landing the guy they (think) they want at the moment.
  14. Thinking back to the end of regulation at Penn St., when Dante took a hit to the helmet that snapped his head back (targeting?) When he walked out for the OT coin toss he was rocking his head side to side. I wonder if he was dinged a little bit and maybe suffering some PTSD against Indy from that hit. He really didn't look like himself Saturday. Maybe that explains some of his sub-par performance?
  15. Now, now. I am just trying to comfort my Duck-Buddies. Let's play nice...

  18. Jon, as you pointed out, both IU and tOSU have fairly easy roads to the title game. And for this Duck fan i hope both win out and go 12-0. After the title game the BIG should have tOSU at 13-0 and a fierce pitbullish IU at 12-1. Both will be in the CFP. As for the Ducks their road to 11-1 has 5 winning teams in its way. If they handle business they will be in the CFP. On the road to play an SEC team in the first round. They dont need to concern themselves about a repeat BIG title...do they? As David and geo pointed out JUST WIN OUT! With the massive SEC support i am not sure a 10-2 Duck team reaches the CFP. It is all in the Ducks hands now! Go Ducks

  21. Why Oregon Freshman Brandon Finney Jr. Could Be The Next Star CornerbackThe No. 8 Oregon Ducks may have lost a costly game against the No. 3 Indiana Hoosiers at home, but freshman defensive back Brandon Finney Jr. showcased his talents and the impact he brings to Oregon's roster. Oregon Ducks On SIWhy Oregon Freshman Brandon Finney Jr. Could Be The Next...The No. 8 Oregon Ducks were stunned at home, losing 30-20 to No. 3 Indiana. 24. Agreed, it's not been good Quick clarification on the stats below: "Off. Points per Game" is points scored by offense in regulation (i.e., no D/ST/OT points) Offense including non-conference games: Offense conference games only:
  25. Hoping the Ducks will soon sign Gus the Mule (or his equivalent)!
  26. Spot on, Geo, and I'm sorry, OBD Forum friends and fans. 😒But ... Cheer for SC to Fight On to victory at Notre Dame, and for UW to win in Ann Arbor. Also, an Iowa win over Penn State at home, and a Nebraska win in Minneapolis, would help OBD's SOS cause. 💩 You don't have to tell me, I'm already on the way to my room. 🙃
