tOSU-Miami staring slow...
Although a lost fumble by Miami stalled what looked like a promising drive. 0-0 so far. After 2 possessions, tOSU has 1 first down.

That stinks... sort of expected from Nebraska.

Oregon Will Romp Because Texas Tech is a Fraud
We shall see! I think TT is a very good team, but I’m not sure they have the depth on defense to beat the Ducks! I’m not educated enough on this matchup to give a strong opinion, but I think the Ducks will win the 4th quarter and the game!

Oregon Will Romp Because Texas Tech is a Fraud
While I agree with Mike about passing in that 'Natty, I do feel I have to offer proof AGAIN that Barner made the bad decision on 4th down. The play call was fine, the blocking was there, but instead of running to the pylon....Kenjon ran right at their star DT Nick Fairley. The orange line/arrow is the path Barner took...it was HIS choice that defeated the play. (Yeah...I've kept a screenshot all this time because people keep getting it wrong)

Oregon Will Romp Because Texas Tech is a Fraud
Mike West I was sitting in the Fiesta Bowl at Glendale, AZ, January 10, 2011, watching OBD fail to score from inside the five yard line with three successive runs inside the tackles thinking exactly what you said about Chip’s play calling above.

Oregon Will Romp Because Texas Tech is a Fraud
I don't either... I happen to believe the Red Raiders did their job winning the games they were supposed to. They do have a stout defense. It hasn't really been tested though. None of the teams they've faced are elite. I also believe Indiana changes the narrative about OBD. The response reminds me of all the talk about Auburn after they stuffed out running game. I will always believe that Chip was so bent on proving he could run in the Tigers instead of exploiting their weakness against the clear advantage OBD had passing that day In my mind Auburn was lucky he did, because OBD were by far the better team. We held the most explosive SEC team to 19 points ( in a conference known for its physical prowess) and had the opportunity to drop 30 plus if we had just passed the damn ball. The SEC and ESPN got away with a false narrative.

It just 'means more' in the SEC. Unless you miss the playoffs, then it's "I'm opting out for NFL prep/the portal/mom's cooking"

Oregon Will Romp Because Texas Tech is a Fraud
I don’t believe TTU is a fraud; perhaps more “unknown”. “Unknown” because all their stats are derived from B12 competition. Without much cross-conference competition, it’s hard to effectively rank teams. I do hope many of @Mike West predictions come true. Go Ducks!!

New Year’s Eve Bowl Games Discussion: Iowa vs. Vandy, & Michigan vs. Texas
What? We have heard SO MUCH all season about how good the SEC and Vandy are? So No. 23 Iowa has been regarded as an afterthought, while outright disrespected in a Big-12 podcast for being 8-4 in the B1G. Yet Vandy was No. 14 in the nation, and 10-2 and they LOSE to Iowa? Is this when the narrative begins to change?

Hopefully Moore stays, because it's slim pickings at the QB position outside of Brenden Sorsby from Cincinnati.

New Year’s Eve Bowl Games Discussion: Iowa vs. Vandy, & Michigan vs. Texas
Michigan seems to be moving the ball decently on Texas. Guess firing Sherrone Moore was addition by subtraction. Watching Arch Manning, I'm not impressed. Seems his hype is attached solely to his last name.

New Year’s Eve Bowl Games Discussion: Iowa vs. Vandy, & Michigan vs. Texas
Is this the same Michigan team that scored 7 points against Washington? They're up 17 to 10 barely into the 2nd quarter. AND, on the strength of the Big 12, Duke is leading ASU at halftime, and Nebraska is beating Utah.

2025-26 Bowl Record by Conference
Sankey's insistence on getting so many SEC teams into the Playoff makes me think after today that he had his eyes on bowel games rather than bowl games? Iowa's four losses this season were all 5 pts or less. Are they the best 4-loss team this year? The top 7 SEC teams all had 3 losses or less...because they play 8 conference games and a softball, yet get the benefit of the doubt on SOS.
