Chip is Available
Chipper is best seen in the rear-view mirror. We love what he did here, but what has he done since? Or Taggert? Or Mario? Lightning won't strike twice. I think JJ is correct, there will be many openings and others willing to bet on that 2nd lightning strike. For us, it's "in Lanning we trust". I'm sure he has several names in his little black book of potential coaches. He will develop his own coaching tree. Now, huck those fuskies!

Will Stein To Arkansas??
Stein played and coached in Louisville and in Texas. There is some geographic semblance and high school recruiting territory for Stein. On a direct flight between two of his jobs at San Antonio and Louisville you essentially fly right over the top of Little Rock.

NDSU Retains Coach and 2028
Fargo Sources: North Dakota State head coach Tim Polasek has agreed in principle to a new seven-year contract, which will bring him through the 2033 season. The new deal includes a significant raise, additional staff money and more program resources. Guess that takes him off the Beavis radar. NDSU visits Autzen in 2028.

The Big Ten Network's Big Today Show is Huge on OBD Today
The Big Today show is repeated throughout the day on BTN. Today's show includes a terrific take from Urban Meyer on the program Dan has built at Oregon, including praising Oregon's backup OL players for their effort in the game vs. USC. And, there are many minutes dedicated to this Saturday's game at UW. GO DUCKS!

Oregon Football: The X-Factor Vs. Washington
I'm going with A'Mauri Washington as my x-factor. (He had 64 snap counts vs USUC) I don't believe the Fusky's have anyone who can nullify his impact on the game. Good chance he wrecks havoc at the LOS and creates chaos in the backfield. Final answer, lock it in:) Go Ducks!

Chip is Available

Chip is Available
Given Deion Sander's problems, perhaps he ought to be hired as OC at Colorado, thereby becoming Buffalo Chip.

Cascade Clash is even better than “they” realize: In the folklore of the area's Indigenous peoples, Mt. Rainier and Mt. Hood are cast in significant roles within myths about Mt. St. Helens. One common legend describes the three mountains as being involved in a love triangle, where the two warriors (Mt. Hood and Mt. Adams) fought over the beautiful maiden Loowit (Mt. St. Helens). Another tale from the Cowlitz tribe tells of Mt. St. Helens (Lavelatla) becoming jealous of Mt. Rainier (Tahoma) and knocking off its head.

Oregon Football: The X-Factor Vs. Washington
X factor? Just show up. Against top 40 teams WA kinda sucks. Points scored; OSU (1st) 6 MI (18th) 7 WI (30th) 10 They only had 3 points after 3 qtrs against Maryland (41st) Ducks are 6th in PPG given up 13.2. If I had to pick a player it would Tuioti.

I'm Rooting For Ohio State...
Yes, we need to get healthy. First playoff game is the weekend of the 19th/20th. Those 3 weeks are enormously needed to get healthy as well as clean up route running and sharpen our defense even more. This is a setup for Oregon to crush their opponents clear to the Championship game.

College Football Chaos - Bring IT On!
Some More on the Chaos Front from SI - Of course, all of this stuff means every favorite will win and cover, right? 👌👍😁 Fine with me, I want to watch a PO game in Autzen. Dear Pat, Indiana plays Purdue on Friday night, not Saturday. Really a witch to check and get right, right? 🤬 It's OK, and have a really swell day. 😁 SICollege Football Playoff Scenarios Leave Room for Chaos i...Nothing is set in stone in the CFP, but there are a few near-locks (and lots of potential drama) as we await the final decisive slate of the regular season.

Give Thanks! Rivalry A/K/A Hate Week Is Here
Took my son to a game at fusky stadium years ago. Walking back to car, after our win, three skinny drunk fusky students grabbed my Duck hat and told me to try to take it back from them. I should have walked away, but having wrestled for years, I took that challenge. After a short skirmish, I got my hat back from the moron that grabbed it. Luckily for me, the other two kids stayed out of it. I still have that hat. During the Hate the fuskys week, I usually get a text from my son asking if I wrestled any kids in the parking lot.

Oregon Football: The X-Factor Vs. Washington
I will say that #54 Mixon had a gear that I didn’t think he did when he ran down Lemon on that swing pass. The outside contain that Oregon showed against U$C was outstanding and shut down most of their options. Fusky doesn't have as many deep or lateral weapons as the Trojenz and if the edges can keep Williams from busting loose from the pocket it will be a lot harder for him to find targets against the Duck secondary. D Jackson has the speed to be a spy but would have to play with a discipline that he hasn't always shown. Theinemen certainly can as long as it doesn't leave a safety sized gap in the middle. Mixon might very well be able to be that spy if he stays on the field for passing downs.

The Cascade Clash? I'm okay with it, but I also didn't get a vote.. I would think our Forum Friends here could come up with a clever one. Cascade Brigade or Tirade... The Northwest Test.. The Border Problem... I can't think of anything significantly better.... Go Ducks!
