  2. I’d go so far as to say they’re almost identical. If the PAC had survived and the B12 was the one to blow up they might be in the same situation as Beavis. We will never know but I’m guessing Okie would have been on the bubble as an ACC or PAC expansion list target.
  3. 42-21 Ducks 2 TO 4 Sacks 269 Passing Yards (OSU gets 2 TD's in the fourth with the Ducks playing deep into the depth chart).
  4. Oregon 42-6 3 TO 5 sacks 350 passing yards
  5. Oregon 24-14 1 TO 2 Sacks 243 Yards Passing OSU has historically played well when Gundy shoots his mouth off.
  6. Oregon, 63-13 3 t/o 5 sacks 360 passing yards They are going to blitz us and we will throw the ball over them. Lots of explosive plays whether deep throws or yac dump offs. Explosive plays lead to quicker drives, and more opportunities to score. And if there are a lot of turnovers that shortens drives even more. I'm not a betting man, but if I were, betting the over would be like stealing candy from a baby.
  7. Oregon 43 - 9 2 - t/o 4 - Saks 257 - yds pass

  9. This has gotten me thinking about both OSU's that wear orange and black and how alike they actually are. They are in different positions but both have opted for the "things are fine" approach. Oregon State has never really invested in their football program. They have always rejected the Oregon approach of invest in the program and strive to improve and good things will happen. Instead they opted for the goal of just reaching a bowl game is good enough. The embodiment of this is their hiring of Mike Riley and the maintaining of his contract. Riley was a good coach, he had more winning seasons than losing ones at Oregon State and he kept the Beavers generally towards the middle of the Pac. But he never got them to a Rose Bowl by winning the conference. OSU never invested in the program and they were fine with the status quo. Oklahoma State had money invested and they hired Gundy back in 2005 making Gundy one of the longest (if not the longest) tenured coach in college football. Gundy has been better than Riley and Oklahoma State has invested more into their program than Oregon State. But Oklahoma State didn't seem to leverage their funds into building a next level program. They are firmly in the BIg 12 which is much much much better than Oregon State's situation but the SEC isn't calling on Oklahoma State to join them. It feels like Oklahoma State is just fine with where they're at right now. Maybe in a few years they'll get more active about trying to build a better NIL collective and leverage their resources into building up their program but in a lot of ways Gundy feels like Riley. Just fine.
  10. What happened to the CFB Cowboys? The Dallas Cowboys are Spitty 😁and the Stillwater Cowboys are Bucked. 🤬 https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/what-happened-to-oklahoma-state-how-one-of-college-footballs-coolest-brands-slipped-to-a-saturday-long-shot/

  13. Bill Connolly has 28 Week 2 games to watch. (If you don't have a life outside of CFB?) ESPN.comOU to challenge a freshman QB, the Border rivalry's retur...In Week 2, we get a unique helmet game and the Group of 5's biggest weekend.
  14. Ducks win 52-14 3 take-aways 3 sacks 303 passing yards "I'm a man. I'm 40!!!"
  15. Perhaps all of you were already aware of it, but the last I noted our ranking, was at No. 7, and we just moved up to that. Note right here that at No. 3 in the nation with Rivals, we have the fewest recruits at 17 than any others in the top-ten...by a mile. And yeah...they list us with four 5-Stars, but we really only have one Rivals 5-Star at the moment. Our average ranking per recruit is No. 1, with the highest quality recruiting class to date. And yep...it is a long ways to December signing. But it is fun to see for now! Immanuel Iheanacho, Rivals 5-Star
  16. Tonight, ACC Dark Horse 😁 Louisville plays one of the PO G6 favorites, James Madison University. 4 PM - ESPN2 SC transfer QB Miller Moss played well against Weber State. This will be a step up in competition. The Cardinals host Clemson, a team it defeated in 2024, and Kentucky, but have a difficult conference road schedule playing at Pitt, Miami, VA Tech, Cal, and SMU. Whew! Big Red LouieLouisville vs James Madison final odds and predictionsJeff Brohm and Louisville football will look to carry their momentum over from their dominant Week 1 win over Eastern Kentucky into the Week 2 clash with James
  17. Duke has opened the football wallet, making the Blue Devils a more likely B1G expansion candidate. UNC might be tempted to go the way of the SEC, but I'm fairly certain that Duke would want to go B1G. Duke, UNC, Notre Dame, Kansas, ASU, and FSU? The Seminoles are this close to AAU status and a B1G bid. 🤔 5 B1G P4 vs P4 games today. 2 versus the ACC, 2 versus the B12, and 1 against the SEC. The games were bigger in Week 1, but all 5 of these games will have an impact on conference SOS, making the PO, and PO seeding. A multi-million-dollar question: Will the B1G have three or four teams in the 2025-26 PO? Will the ACC and B12 have two? https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/why-duke-went-all-in-on-football-blue-devils-invest-heavily-for-program-to-compete-at-highest-level/?ftag=SNL-04-10aaa0b&ET_CID=471959&ET_RID=52482716
  18. Oregon 52-10 4 OSU turnovers 6 sacks 235 passing yards I think Montana St. may be able to beat Oklahoma St. on a neutral field. I'm predicting high turnovers and short fields for Oregon, so not a lot of passing yards needed for 52 points.
  19. OBD - 42-17 3 Cowboys TOs 5 Sacks 270 Lasso the Cowboys -
  20. What happened to Oklahoma State? How one of college football's coolest brands slipped to a Saturday long shot The Cowboys and Ducks used to be peers; can Oklahoma State come back?
  21. What's allowed freshman WR Cooper Perry to be an "above the line" player early into the 2025 season? Oregon looks like they have not one but two true freshmen receivers who will be playing this season as Cooper Perry has emerged as another standout receiver
  22. Oregon 38-17 2 TO 4 Sacks 260 yds passing
