  2. 1-0 Beavis after three innings. Oregon had bases loaded with one out...and stranded them. That is five in the game already... It turns out that Cooper Strawn did start and pitch one inning before Gabe Howard. In the third we see Cooper Markham start it at 6'3" 229 pounds, and he gave up two base runners. So Luke Morgan came in and his pitches seem to be ON today between a curve-dropball, and a fastball on the corners.
  3. 1-0 Beavis after two innings. We gave up a homer in the first inning, and I could not see the first inning, as I was struggling to find the game. Go to KOIN.com and sign up for a free account. Then click on the link they email you, and then was the struggle trying to find the damn game. I believe I found it under "Videos" and then a subcategory that referred to Live sports...but I am not sure I can duplicate it. Pretty poorly done by KOIN... It lists freshman Cooper Strawn below as the starter, but when I was able to get into the game in the late second inning--we have sophomore, lightly used pitcher from West Linn, Gabe Howard. He is a big-boy at 6'3" and 230 pounds...

  14. On a podcast from TOS it was speculated that Crepea was moved because Coach Dan complained about his journalistic style to an editor at O-Live. No evidence was proffered, only supposition.....yet, it seems highly plausible to me.

  17. Oregon football has never produced NFL talent at a higher rate than it does right now. Under Dan Lanning, the program set a record in 2024 with eight players drafted, then broke that mark again in 2025 with ten selections, finishing fourth nationally behind Ohio State, Texas, and Georgia. 22. Another prediction, Stanford to Oregon. Let’s hope it comes true choosing Oregon over Georgia and Texas this Thursday. Oregon Ducks predicted to land 4-star S Semaj StanfordFour-star safety Semaj Stanford has received multiple predictions from recruiting analysts to land with the Ducks. Stanford is expected to announce his decision on Thursday between Oregon, Georgia and Texas. Rivals' Steve Wiltfong and Sam Spiegelman both placed predictions on Stanford for the Ducks on Wednesday. Stanford is the No. 95 overall recruit and No. 7 safety in the country, per Rivals, out of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. The 5-foot-11, 180-pounder would be another big win in the secondary for Oregon defensive coordinator Chris Hampton, who has led the recruitment for Stanford. https://duckswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/college/ducks/recruiting/2026/04/22/oregon-football-recruiting-semaj-stanford-prediction/89734844007/

  28. The Oregon Athletic Department is among the very few in the black. What is a Power 4's most valuable asset by far? Football game inventory. So, Saint Nick, what's your plan to bring in more money that could save many P4 programs that will not be included in a Super Conference? What's the plan to save non-revenue sports? Your plan to prevent a Group of Eight and instead keep millions of college football fans involved in the game? You have heard that Kirby Smart and Josh Heupel support a 24-team PO, right? Nick, it's really a 16-team playoff with eight play-in games. Your employer, ESPN, doesn't want the CFB playoff to expand? No conflict, right? ESPN is not going to support a playoff model that would end its exclusive broadcast rights and ding the value of its bowl game inventory featuring 6-6 teams going at it. That ESPN is even in the room with conference commissioners is prima facie evidence of Disney's ownership of the postseason and of its undue influence over the selection and seeding of the field. You don't want the PO to begin and end sooner. You don't want 16 postseason games played on campus. Don't you want the product you so artfully coached to bring in hundreds of millions more dollars? There are two ways to increase CFB football revenue: expand the playoff or leverage the value of the football inventory through private equity or private capital deals. Raising the cost of attendance coast-to-coast will be no more than a drop in a huge bucket. Is making the cost of attendance at games prohibitive for many fans good for the growth of the game? Sorry, Nick, and I don't believe you would suggest this, but I doubt that coaches will agree to a 50% pay cut, and players will willingly agree to a cap on NIL income. In my seven decades of watching sports, no sport has gone broke as a result of expanding the playoffs. The CFB PO tripled from 4 teams to 12 teams, and more people attended and watched P4 games last season than ever before. Nick, you are a businessman; how can you not see this? We're all anxiously awaiting your plan. What's that? Yes, relief could come from Congress, but not without you convincing the smarties that run things that the athletes sharing in athletic department revenue are EMPLOYEES. By the way, the United States of America, via the IRS, taxes the income earned by these non-employee student-athletes. Perhaps the NCAA, CFB, CBB, and college poohbahs should try a dose of substance instead of form. 24 should happen as soon as possible, in 2027-28.
