  2. Before anyone reacts...the post above is NOT a political comment, and we do NOT want to go into that election from 25 years ago. But it is a nice reference to attorneys coming up with a compromise, and one that all Duck fans would enjoy. No political comments please, and take his post for the good-natured intention that was meant.
  3. Yeah… USC’s 1.9 yards per rush is never going to win games. And it was the Ducks’ passing defense that was vaunted prior to the game. The Ducks defense proved today that they really are as good as their stats.
  4. "I'm a Duck fan living smack dab in the middle of SEC country, and I can tell you with an absolute certainty, this game was not big enough. Lol, unfortunately, southern fan bases will NEVER take OBD seriously until they win a national championship." This is the week that I think most of the SEC plays cupcakes to pad their win column and rest up a little for post season play... so I don't really care what SEC fans think of Oregon. Today, USC would have beaten half the teams in the SEC, maybe more. Most Duck fans get excited when the beavs, Huskies or USC lose... I get fired up when the top SEC teams lose. If Alabama loses next week, it will be party time.
  5. Sorry, but who did a&m, alabama, and Georgia play today??? Joke. They should all be drop in the rankings for that non conference disgrace this late in the season.
  6. It was great practice for the secondary. Never seen a QB throw it for grabs so often, best receivers the Ducks have faced. UCS offence is basiclly the 2 minite drill all game long. Challenging but Indian was still better. Stein please stop this direct snap BS, It fails more than 75% of the time.
  7. TCU heads home to Fort Worth, and does not need to go back to No. 23 Houston, Houston, Houston. Horned Frogs 17 - Hosed and Exposed Houston, 14 This game is a perfect example of why there should not be a ranking of 15, not 25.
  8. I'm a Duck fan living smack dab in the middle of SEC country, and I can tell you with an absolute certainty, this game was not big enough. Lol, unfortunately, southern fan bases will NEVER take OBD seriously until they win a national championship.
  9. Jon Joseph may have to contest this ruling. Ironically, I can bring another attorney into the mix- one that isn't retired despite being 82 years-old. My father's best friend from college and law school may be able to help. Paul Hancock was Chief of the Civil Litigation Division for the Florida Attorney General’s Office in 2000 (the AG was a Democrat), and argued on behalf of Al Gore in the Supreme Court, requesting that the manual recount be continued. I think Hancock and Joseph could make a compelling case that a co-winner be declared, but may settle for a consolation prize in which they are "promised" an easy victory for the Ducks against the Huskies.

  11. How Oregon's win over USC affects College Football Playoff, Big Ten Championship landscapes The Ducks moved one step closer to punching their ticket to the CFP, but still need some help to reach the Big Ten title game
  12. One of the most insane games I can remember watching.. Great win considering penalties and injuries; now let's hope those are behind us!
  13. Well... I think the curse was passed on to Harvard. They all called Harvard to beat Yale and Yale won.
  14. Biggest Winners And Losers From Oregon Ducks' Win Over USC TrojansOn a beautiful Senior Day inside Autzen Stadium, Oregon Ducks coach Dan Lanning and his extensive roster proved too much for USC Trojans coach Lincoln Riley's group, 42-27. Both programs have dynamic offenses that made for a memorable game on the West Coast Oregon Ducks On SIBiggest Winners And Losers From Oregon Ducks' Win Over US...From the Pac-12 Conference to the now Big Ten Conference, it doesn't matter. These two West Coast powerhouses somehow always find a way to put on an entertainin
  15. The Oregon Ducks walked into Autzen Stadium on Saturday morning with their backs against the wall, needing a win over the No. 15 USC Trojans to keep their College Football Playoff hopes and championship dreams alive. They left on Saturday night with an impressive win, that tested the depth and culture of the squad. Oregon Duck fans react to big win over USC Trojans on social media
  16. I was standing in front of my recliner the entire game. What fun watching OBD totally dominate USC in the run game. Too bad the refs don't call face masking penalties like they do PI.
  17. He played like a headless chicken on defense, totaling 13 tackles and even knocking down a pass during the game. Boettcher put together what was arguably his best performance of his career as his time with the Duckswinds down. To put the cherry on top, he was inserted on offense during the first half and ran in a one-yard touchdown. It’s hard for a defensive player to have a better game than Boettcher did today, which is why he won this week’s MVP. Bryce Boettcher wins Ducks Wire Player of the Game vs. USC Trojans
  18. For all the "touch" defensive PI calls, it seemed like refs allowed the USUC receivers to shove off the defender with regularity.
  19. The winner this time by a touch is...Grandpa Duck! In a battle of retired attorneys, he and Jon Joseph were SO CLOSE. Final Score was: 42-27 Oregon, with two turnovers, one sack, and 257 yards passing. Both Jon Joseph and Grandpa Duck were off by ONE POINT with the same 41-27 score, so we turn to the tiebreakers. Both guessed one turnover, thus we had a tie with that tiebreaker. With sacks, Jon Joseph predicted two, while Grandpa Duck selected one, thus Grandpa Duck wins that tiebreaker. For passing yards, Jon Joseph went with 235 yards, while Grandpa Duck opted for 293 yards, thus Jon Joseph wins that tiebreaker. So we are completely tied up...so the final tiebreaker is....who posted first? Grandpa Duck! We've never had one so close, and that was great fun for all. Thanks to all for playing, and congrats to Grandpa Duck!

  22. Oregon held USC to 382 yards of total offense which is 107 yards short of their average YPG of 489. No small feat. USC averages 191 YPG rushing with a 5.6 yards per carry average. Oregon held them to 52 yards on 28 carries for a 1.9 yards per carry average. This was the difference in the game.
  23. Well, it was two former Pac-12 teams, so maybe the refs are former Pac-12-ers too....
  24. That was a stressful game to watch, but overall good considering we were down 3 LTs, the C, and our 3 top WRs. If Oregon can get fully healthy, I love their upside. USC OC / Passing Game Cord. Strategy: “Throw the ball up and the refs will throw the flag . . . every time.” I know Sadiq gets a lot of love, and deserves it, but I’m really liking TE #9 Johnson. While Sadiq is an athletic freak of nature, Johnson is a monster that can run.
  25. Such a strange game. This reffing crew is such an outlier to the rest of the B1G crews that let them play. Next season I would like Nike to test out their new cleats designs on the Autzen turf before the season. Since when does a kicker slip on a dry field kickoff? I hope Lanning makes it clear we won't be wearing that cleat design for anymore games, especially not our home playoff game. Happy we covered the spread despite the penalties, injuries and slipping.
  26. And...Oregon won both the Mens and Womens Cross-Country Big-10 Championships...
