  2. Thank all that is holy and most that is not! Football is back!
  3. OBD, 38-10 2 TO 3 Sacks 315 yards passing Go Ducks!
  4. Nebraska and Cincinnati are close 6-3Neb with less than 3 in the half. Looks like Nebraska is going to pull away soon. Just better line play.
  5. Thank you Charles for this new freedom to vent. It is probably a good thing. However, I know I will find it hard not to come back with a snide comment to any of the “sky is falling”, “fire the coach”, “our coaches/players/play-calling sucks” comments from some of the fans on the page. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, this is a GAME, played by KIDS. That means the ball is going to bounce in funny ways, and kids are going to make mistakes. The doomsayers and negative Nellie’s need to buck up and take a breath before tearing into OBD, cause I for one am gonna have a hard time just leaving those derogatory comments alone. Maybe I will just watch the games And look at comments later. Don’t want to get in trouble for defending OBD from ill thought out, derogatory remarks about my favorite team in CFB.
  6. 🤔🤢😡🤬🤬*!!#*##🤬💩💩☠️💩🤮 Just practicing
  7. OBD 41-13 2 TO 3 Sacks (and twice that TFLs) 285 yds thru the air (because the RBs eat and the offense is so vanilla that Umpqua ice cream is envious)
  8. Oklahoma State-17 UT Martin-7 3rd Quarter

  10. Luckily, Jerry Jones dropped a big enough bomb that nobody will even notice Boise’s poor performance.
  11. Oregon 42-6 3 turnovers 4 sacks 312 yards passing
  12. I’ve been to a few cool places. Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge is unmatched. I can’t think of a more perfect college football experience. I haven’t been to Eugene in 10 years, but it’s still the second best experience. Back then, you could get a tailgate spot at the Free Masons lodge for $40. It was a great scene but I imagine the price has gone up. Still a fun place to hang out. I thought the Mo made for a great pre-game experience as well. Pullman had free parking within walking distance of Martin Stadium and a nice indoor tailgate area. I enjoyed the experience there, but getting out of town is nuts because of the infrastructure. Columbia, SC is awesome, but parking is expensive and the wait to get out of William-Brice stadium are can be 2-3 hours. Once again, the infrastructure doesn’t make for an easy exit for 80K fans. Appalachian State is a beautiful setting, but Boone, NC is a dud. The restaurant scene sucks worse than the tailgating. Kidd-Brewer is a great hot weather stadium because the home fans are in the shade. But, late in the season the temps can be in the low teens which makes for single digits in the shade of the home side. NC State and UNC are about as fun as Portland State games. Enough said. I had high hopes for Penn State, but FedEx is trying their best to screw me by losing my parking pass. StubHub also sent me tickets with a person sitting between my wife and me. Hopefully, that person is willing to swap with one of us. Let’s hope the game isn’t as cursed as my ticket buying experience has been.
  13. Let's get this party started! Boise State doesn't look so hot this year. Getting boat raced by USF.

  15. I love the walk from campus to Autzen. Over the river, and through the woods... "You'll hear it, long before you see it"
  16. Ducks 49- 17 4 Passing TDs 3 Sacks 299 passing yards
  17. I’m looking for the Ducks to not be like Boise.
  18. I want Dante Moore’s numbers and composure to make us all breathe a little easier.

  20. https://www.washingtonpost.com/travel/interactive/2025/best-college-football-towns/ I've been to several of these locations, though not always on a gameday. Being there when it isn't a game day may be a better test of "college town" rankings? The biggest letdown for me was South Bend. It was established in 1835 and there are areas that look original - laugh. Some pretty rough areas especially after decline in local industries in the late 1990's. Some say the best thing about South Bend is that it is 95 miles to Chicago and 145 miles to Indianapolis. Not sure about that. But, of those options in that Washington Post column I would put it last.
  21. Oregon 28-13 2 TD passes 1 sack 234 passing yards The running clock couple with a run-heavy opponent makes for a low scoring game.
  22. Ducks 41-17 2 3.5 324 yards—Moore 234, Novosad 68, Moga 22
  23. Ducks 55 - 6 3 4 285 P.S. My neighbor's kid just graduated from Mont St. Going to be tough to see a grown man cry (not me). Tried to make the same bet I made with the senior partner at my first law firm in '93 on the "Wheaton's going to score game". He declined to wager/pay all the expenses to the game.
