  1. Where does Colorado rank in fbs for rushing? Dead last? ... That's how you get your guys inflated numbers to accompany 3 losses. We know where the better players are.
  2. Is Oregon still in the running for Justus Terry?
  3. #1 recruiting class according to Rivals
  4. 'Cause 10 sacks in a game is typical mundane stuff. I don't mind Oregon being the monster lurking in the shadows... Hopefully they pounce on everyone. Then they'll be the talk of the town all off-season.
  5. Great game to end the day... By far the best game today. Georgia better win this.
  6. Does anybody think that Georgia Tech has what it takes to beat Georgia? It's 10 - 0 GT with less than 5 minutes to go in the first half.
  7. Anybody watching what Minnesota is able to do against that Wisconsin defense that Oregon could barely score against? Football is weird.
  8. The way Joel Klatt has been talking about Ohio State all game long, someone should hand him a tissue... And I don't mean for tears.
  9. If Indiana had a slightly better defense... Look out
  10. Well that was... something. I'll take the win, but our offense needs to figure stuff out this week and become more on par with our defense. I will say that I'm very proud of OBD for fighting through adversity and sticking it out to get the win. Even though it was a close game it was still a good learning experience, and there will be many lessons learned. Game ball should be split between the defense and Atticus Sappington. Now let's hope they fix that offense up so when they face the mutts in 2 weeks they can light them up at home, and Dan will get his first win against the purple puppies. Let's Go Ducks!!
  11. This statement is so wrong... just ask Shedeur Sanders! Oh, wait. I really liked seeing Urban gush over our defense! And I hope his faith in Oregon is vindicated in January!
  12. I received an email from Rob Mullens on Friday, but I didn't notice it until this morning. I have never received an email like this before, and it has me a bit curious. For those who didn't receive one, I'll summarize below: The message is from Oregon Athletics to their supporters, explaining upcoming changes in college sports and their impact on the university. Here’s what it means in a summary: 1. New Financial Changes: Due to legal settlements, colleges may soon share revenue directly with student-athletes, especially for their name, image, and likeness (NIL). This could cost Oregon over $20 million annually, on top of current expenses. 2. Scholarship Rule Changes: The NCAA may allow unlimited scholarships but limit total team roster sizes. This change could double the number of scholarships, adding significant costs (around $14-$15 million more each year). 3. Increased Costs: Oregon Athletics, which operates without university funds, must cover these new expenses. They’ll need to find additional revenue or cut costs while continuing to support their 20 sports programs and 500 athletes. 4. Transition to Big Ten: Moving to the Big Ten Conference provides new opportunities, better stability, and greater visibility for Oregon Athletics, but they still need strong supporter backing to thrive under this new financial model. Overall, it’s a request for continued support as the university adapts to major changes in college athletics funding. Thoughts?
  13. Yeah I kind of figured the way Miami's been playing that their luck would finally run out. Also I knew that the Mario Cristobal style of football would finally do them in because, well, as Oregon fans we've seen it first hand. So while Miami is exposed for the overrated team that they are, Ohio state looks to have figured out their defensive woes, and their offense looks deadly again. Granted it was Purdue. That Ole Miss - Georgia game is going to be interesting. And it's going to be interesting to see how Indiana's offense matches up with Michigan's defense. Man, I love fall Saturdays. Let's Go Ducks!!
  14. Imagine if LaMichael James had six years to play—his stats would be untouchable. We can't even assess if Jeanty will surpass LaMike's yardage after just three seasons. Dillon Gabriel is a talented QB, no doubt, but like Bo Nix last year, his record-breaking numbers are benefiting from extended eligibility and extra games, which inflate the metrics. But the Heisman is about this season, not a career. And right now, Jeanty is delivering an incredible performance. Gabriel is a fantastic college quarterback, but is he Heisman-worthy? Honestly, I don't think so—at least not yet. However, the season isn't over, and we don’t hand out the trophy in the middle of it. It’ll be interesting to see how this race unfolds. If I were a betting man, I’d put my money on Jeanty, as long as he keeps up this level of play. As for the original topic, I think I agree with those who say that the Heisman ceremony date should be left alone as it does reflect the season.
  15. So "could" Washington State... This means nothing. Finebaum showing his bias once again
