Totally agree with this. In my eyes, Thompson has not shown any signs of greatness in the limited time he has gotten. In fact, the signs are mostly of not being ready for the job, sad to say. Seems like a great kid, but unless he's a real late bloomer, I don't think he's the guy. I'll hope for late blooming.

I would like to see Lanning, if he can do it, amp down his in-game personality. When I see his eyes bulging, and his teeth clenched, and his jaw jutting forward, I see someone who may not be in the best frame of mind to make calculated decisions. Just my cheap psychological observation.
