  1. USC lost to Utah, Utah lost to Florida, Florida lost to Oregon State...therefore the Beavers obviously should have been in the playoffs. You can play this game all day long.
  2. That is the best thing I've seen in a long time.
  3. Yes, absolutely, you take the chance. Kids don't pan out for all sorts of reasons, but there's no reason to ignore such incredible football talent on the chance he may decide to prioritize track.
  4. Bridges, for at least one, has developed, so that he's turning around to track the ball. That way, when he makes contact with the receiver, he isn't going to automatically draw a penalty. He did that at least a couple of times in the Holiday Bowl. Whereas, the NC defensive backs never turned around, made contact, and were penalized.
  5. So, maybe we're already really happy, but we just don't know it yet?
  6. For a head coach, it's getting so that the regular season is the quietest time of the year. The portal, NLI, NIL, coaching poaching, recruiting...the "off" season was never so mis-named.
  7. Game ball to the defense. And, the left upright.
  8. Franklin, unbelievable catch and keeping the ball off the turf.
  9. That was a big-time catch. RPOs can be a killer.
  10. I think we're missing Bo's right ankle more than anything. He can't run and can't throw properly, either.
  11. Seems like the NC coaches are adjusting a little better than the Ducks' coaches.
  12. The defense has really played fairly well this game. The offense...
  13. Anything new on the defensive side? Seeing more QB pressure than normal.
  14. That is truly wild. Man for sure has a vision of what he wants. I’d like to know what the common denominator is for what he doesn’t like about the roster.
  15. How about this? Criticism of all athletes - professional or little league - is way over the top. It's fine to point out poor performances, print stats that show just how poor the performances were, and indicate where fault lies in games. I mean, it's all there for people to see on their screens, anyway. No point in trying to deny it. Facts is facts: you throw three picks, you screwed up. But, the stupid, savage, personal trash spouted by that radio show host - calling someone a disgrace and a loser - is beyond the pale at any level. It's only sports. These are people performing for our entertainment and their personal satisfaction. Sure, some of them get paid a lot. But, what difference does that make? They're out there in the arena, and we're sitting on our lard butts, watching them. Sure, you can say whatever you want. You're entitled, and all that nonsense. It's part of the discourse today, where saying the meanest possible thing on the internet or screaming insults at a game is a way of showing how "uncensored" you are (this is not meant politically, btw). But, it's really tiresome. And, I think Canzano gives a classic false equivalence head-fake between the Arkansas radio host's comments and his reporting on Zach Randolph; two totally different things End of rant.
  16. Nice piece of writing, 1Funduck, very evocative. Well done.
  17. More than twitter, it’s done. Signing Day ADMIN.GODUCKS.COM Wednesday, December 21: Signing Day for University of Oregon Ducks Football
  18. Time for a "reality" tv show about high school football recruiting.
