  1. This may be the kind of speed QBs really need: What is S2 in the NFL? Explaining Bryce Young, other QB scores for 2023 draft cognition test WWW.SPORTINGNEWS.COM The S2 Cognition test has become one of the more discussed predictor tools ahead of the NFL draft. But what is it? The...
  2. The perfect illustration of the Dunning-Kruger Effect in action.
  3. Quick Dan, flip their one commit!
  4. Let's trot out the usual excuses... • Not our kind of guy. • Didn't really want him anyway. • Can't pay as much as Uncle Phil. • Aliens are kidnapping our recruits.
  5. Fingers and toes crossed for you. Beat this thing!
  6. Man oh man, for us old people this is like a fantasy. Routinely getting commitments from 4-star players, with 5-stars in the mix, is something that back in the day couldn't even have been imagined. But, maybe these recruits are not Washington's kind of guys. You know, they don't need good players.
  7. Let’s be explicit here Huskies’ apologists: what does “a different kind of kid mean”? Is this code for something?
  8. Aaargh! So sorry, Pennsylvania Duck, for you and your husband. Hope you’re both well asap.
  9. Every watch Australian Rules Football? Not a game for the faint of heart.
  10. Speaking of Larry Scott’s legacy, whatever happened to the “missing” few-hundred-thousand in ad overpayments?
  11. …rankings of Oregon liens…? Are the Ducks putting liens on players? Or, do dumb Huskies’s fans get their words mixed up?
  12. Whew! For a moment there, I thought the sanctuary had been breached. Thank you, Charles!
  13. “They’ve been hard on me, especially Dan Lanning,” Flowers noted. “The head coach is really on me, the whole staff really likes me and they’re texting me every day, calling me and FaceTiming me, and showing true love.” These coaches are good at it! It's gotta be exhausting.
  14. We've got an Ozzie, sending up banana punts...clear eyes, full hearts, can't lose!
  15. More details in this account: Receiver Traeshon Holden reinstated to Oregon Ducks football team WWW.OREGONLIVE.COM Holden was reinstated following the decision by the Lane County District Attorney’s office not to...
  16. Assuming there are no other issues (something we on the outside will never know), he should be reinstated to the team.
  17. With those charges, there's no way he should stay on the team. Good job, Lanning.
  18. MLS (Major League Soccer) is conducting a real-life experiment/jump-into-the-deep-end with streaming in just a few weeks. Apple + will stream all league games, as an extra-cost package on top of the monthly Apple subscription fee. Only one or two marquee match up games per week will be broadcast on Fox. As a Portland Timbers fan, I'm not wild about this, and I'm not yet sure if I'll pony up the funds. All Timbers' game have until now been available on local television/cable. I really don't care about watching teams and games that I'm not interested in; I just want to watch the Timbers games. But, to do that I have to pay for the ability to watch all the league games.
  19. Starting to appear that Mario’s sales pitch fails once you’re older than about 18.
  20. Get used to it: all the SoCal recruits will be heading to Eugene soon, because there isn't going to be any water down there. Like they say, ducks to water...
  21. Considering that USC has brought in a good class, this sort of hysterical over-reaction is especially amusing. I like the guy in the image quote who doesn't know the difference between "who's" and "whose".
  22. I wish I had been as thoughtful when I was 18 as Pleasant seems to be.
