Been watching the game on Amazon for the last 20 minutes. So far I'm impressed. Camera work on/around the field, on screen graphics, commentary, etc. are all just as good as what you'd see on ESPN, ABC, Fox, etc. No problems with video studdering in fast motion sequences or awkward transition between programming and commercials like Sling has. This is actually a pretty polished product as far as I'm concerned. Very pleasantly surprised.

I haven't been impressed with Flowe so far. He's got the aggression and the motor but after basically not playing for 2 years, his instincts are off. It's going to take a while for him to regain them and become the the monster we know he should be.

My first job out of college was exactly like that.

It's on a downward trajectory, unfortunately for cable. I cut off Xfinity last year because T-Mobile launched 5G home wifi service in my area, I average anywhere from 200-400 mbps all day. Not quite as fast as Xfinity's offerings but more than enough for my home's needs plus NO DATA CAP. Now I get marketing mail from Xfinity every month trying to win me back with extra fast internet speeds with no data caps (but on a contract). They're seriously sweating the inevitable nationwide roll-out of ISP competition from the wireless companies.

Having Amazon as a digital media partner would be exciting and makes a lot of sense. Given the prevalence of streaming service subscriptions and the fact that pretty much every smart TV in the sold in the last 5 years natively supports the Amazon Prime Video app (my remote has a dedicated Amazon Video button for Pete's sake), that's a pretty firm foundation to build on. If Amazon is truly serious about fully committing to dominating college football media on the western half of the country, I say go for it.

It's what happens when you have all the natural talent in the world and finally get coaches that know how to develop a QB and design an offense around him. Justin's gonna demolish NFL defenses for years to come!

Miami at Texas A&M will be fun. I'm guessing Mario and his now revealed prevent offense will run into a very angry Aggies team that's looking to prove a point after last week's fiasco. Definitely tuning in for that one lol

I have a feeling that maybe Dillingham will continue to keep the offense dialed back for Nix because he may have accuracy issues on the longer passes. Either that or they can't trust him to be patient because it takes time for those downfield routes to be run.

Peterson is burned out and has said as much. He couldn't keep up with the recruiting effort that's necessary nowadays so he left.

Frost had several years worth of failure at Nebraska. Notre Dame's coach has only had the job for 3 games, 2 of those were last year's bowl game and this year against Ohio State. I'd give him a little more slack if I were a Notre Dame fan (I'm not).

Who wants to bet Scott Frost doesn't make it past game 4?

Riley's never cared much for defense...that is until he runs into a good defense like Dave Aranda's Baylor, then he's in trouble.

Oh man, Nix got really lucky on that one. He should carry Ferguson's backpack for him all day Monday.

Offensive line feels inconsistent, good execution on one play then total penetration into the pocket by EWU the next.

Wittingham feels like the better of the two. Not sure why Cardwell and Dollars aren't getting any carries though...

Good tough run into the end zone by Ferguson. He was one of the few bright spots last game, I hope he's more of a focus for the passing offense going forward.

Oregon 42-24 2 2 240 It'll be an improved but still rough performance as both the offense and defense personnel continue to figure things out.

UCF is still running Chip's offense even long after Scott Frost left. Watching the Golden Knights march down the field in 2 minutes or less to score brings back a lot of nostalgia. I can only hope OBD bring an offense as potent as that tomorrow and for the rest of the season.

I also think credit should be given to the defender who was basically horizontal to the ground mid-air to snag that INT. I think 99/100 times would have been an incomplete pass in ordinary circumstances, it was a pretty exceptional play by that CB.

Looking back on the game, I can now understand why DL left his starters in on offense in the 4th quarter. He knows his players' understanding of the new schemes is rough at this stage, so he might as well leave them in for game time reps. Not the ideal circumstance but necessary to get at least some kind of benefit out of a really bad situation.

The offense just needs to cut down on mistakes. Bo Nix needs to dial it back and play within himself and not try ill-conceived heroic plays...when he didn't the offense actually moved the ball very well. The rest of the offense, particularly the OL need to cut down on penalties (there were at least a couple false starts at crucial times which killed drives). The defense just needs to improve all around, particularly finishing those tackles. I anticipate OBD will beat EWU it's just a matter of how much. The difference in the score will indicate how much improvement has happened over the course of this week. I'll only feel better if it's at least a 4-TD win...
