Back in the late 90's a friend, his 50+ yr old dad and I we watching a gm against the uskies. His dad was a uskie fan. We were behind and then I think Pat Johnson caught the game winning TD and his dad had a real heart attack. Now that's a real fan.

I have been wondering why the PAC doesn't seem to be on the same level as the Mid West and South in football? Does the weather differences of Washington / Oregon wet and cold California. / Arizona hot and dry Utah / Colorado dry cold especially altitude effect how we seem to eat each other up? Along with our 9 team league schedule, difficulty recruiting do to population, not having a lot of those teams coming out West to play and feeding off that the time differences when we play at their stadiums. What do u all think causes it?

FB is all about talent as GA coach Kirby Smart said last week. Talent comes from population centers where kids can go play where family and friends can see them. Seattle alone has 4 Million. That's more than our entire state. That's why I believe every team in the PAC has rosters consisting mostly of California players. Which is why it is tough for the PAC to complete with the big teams back east. And yet we sometimes can (tOSU) Hopefully the Natty comes soon.

I believe the problem with the PAC Jon is as u stated earlier.$$$ spent by our Universities and a couple of other issues. When we play ooc games our team's seem to do well when we play at home in our time not EST, that the only recruiting numbers are based in California for all the teams on the West Coast and even the rest of the country. Look at 3 of the top QBs at tOSU, OU and Clemson. All out of California. J T Tamalou the #1 player out of Washington going to tOSU etc. I don't believe this can be changed. Football is a religion in the Mid West and South. Just to many obstacles for the West Coast.

Every game hereout will be tough Every one of the opposition believe they can best the Ducks. I'm worried that the Ducks youth and injuries will bite them in the butt.

I'm still worried about our depth at safety and inside LB on defense and our youthful team, to win out

Sorry on the UCLA having 4 losses but still 3 of them were to the Ducks, Utah and Fresno St. What about the comparison of Miss St, Wisconsin and Iowa Jon do u believe there is no East Coast bias?
