Thanks for the info. How did M Wright not win special teams award. His 2 ko returns help us win the game against the Cougs.- 1 reply

To old and tired to sit in Autzen although I have went over 30 times to see the games. Sooo much better than TV or espn ( in lower case until they show us some respect.

I agree great analysis. I would switch UCLA to 3rd and move everything down 1. I believe the Bruins have loss to Fresno State that shouldn't have happened then lost to Oregon, ASU at home with good games and then @ Utah without their QB. They also have the 2nd best win ooc over LSU.

Washington WILL Attract the BEST Head Coach Candidates
Duck 1972 replied to Charles Fischer's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
The urban setting is valuable to draw minorities to campus If JM went up there that fixes the O scheme. Your right about the defense but was that coaches or players. Gregory is not that highly thought of. I saw on 247 sports where the Uskies had 3rd most talent in the Pac. I hate the Damn dawgs as much as anyone but if administration gets fixed watch out. IMHO. -

Mens Basketball: Moving up the Rankings Already!
Duck 1972 replied to Charles Fischer's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
I agree. When will they enshrine Altman in the HOF? It should already have happened. -
I agree 1 game at a time. I trust our coaches to have a game plan that gives us best chance to win. The way we make adjustments in the 2nd half to shut down the other teams since Pac 12 play started, yes even Stanford, makes me confident we can do the same to the Utes. If we just don't shoot ourselves in the foot in a tough place to play and the tremendous amount of pressure, we'll be fine especially if we don't have to beat the refs too. GO DUCKS kick ass and take names!

I think Riley said he didn't mind them going for FG but that his team was already in the lockerroom. That's why I do believe there should have been a flag.

The Gut-Check Time Against Washington State
Duck 1972 replied to Charles Fischer's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
It was JJ. That call and an unbelievable no holding calls on the Cougs plus the Brown TD. It happens every game. What can be done??? It's so embarrassing and pissing me off to the max. -
I wanted 12:30. why can't the powers that be understand that the time difference between us and the rest of the country. Any games later than the noon window hurts us as a league. It hurts the Pac and hurts CFB. I just don't understand.

Oregon Football: Ducks Bury Cougs Under Heavy Run Game
Duck 1972 replied to FishDuck Article's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
MC's vision of winning the trenches is proving to be a wise 1. Even with our#1RB going down and a multitude of our OL being out due to injuries resulting in never having same OL for any of our games is simply amazing to me. Again shout out to all of our coaches and players. This has to be a season to remember. -

Glad we took 2 RB's last year instead of the normal . great job by coach Mastro and MC -
Mario Cristobal is Reshaping the Pac-12
Duck 1972 replied to FishDuck Article's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
I believe the population density is the biggest problem with the Pac. We just don't have the numbers of talent available like the other leagues. Then add in the time frame disadvantage. And kids wanting to play where their friends and family can see them play. And then the pirating of our best players back East. Just 2 many obstacles. -

CBS Sports Upset Alert: Guess Who is On It?
Duck 1972 replied to Charles Fischer's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
I don't care what talking heads with East Coast bias have to say. I saw an earlier post which suggested the Pac, Big10 and ACC telling the SEC we are starting our own league playoffs, go play with yourself. I love that idea. -
Great coaches are few and far between. having a good club depends on a lot of factors ie. recruitment (top QB and depth) facilities, coaches, administrators, fan base, location, injuries, age of players, scheduling, league and pure ass luck (2010 natty). There are things that could also be added to the list but I can't think of more. It's just damm tough in CFB. I'm so thankful for the teams, players and coaches we have had over my life. GO DUCKS forever.

Getting close to early signing day. Getting Coleman for "22" would give us the burner we had in Satagna. What a huge get. Come on Ducks! Wayne would be huge for "23" -
Taking the Temperature of the Coaching Seats in the Pac-12
Duck 1972 replied to 30Duck's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Would UW go for another D Coach after Lake? Don't think so. Smith makes better sense but has the PAC ever had a HC immediately change to a different league team before? -
I learned the hard way gambling is just that. A gamble

A SWEET SIGHT to SAVOR for Oregon Fans
Duck 1972 replied to Charles Fischer's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
1 game at a time. play your best and leave everything u have on the field. What happens will happen. We shall see. Go Ducks -
PAC is at huge disadvantage in recruiting top talent because we as a conference have trouble getting 5/4 stars out of the rest of the country. (Cristobal is trying, but still?) Our population centers of Seattle/California have to be divided between all the West Coast teams and of course the traitors who go back east. The rest of power 5 college football has better exposure which is what top players want so they have best chance to get drafted. You also have the nearness for family and friends to watch them. This is why I believe we will have problems now and in the future.
