Has anybody else wondered if we could have got Chris Petersen as our HFC coach? I bet he'd still be coaching and we might have won it all in 2017. God I wanted him for our coach. Does anyone know exactly why he quit?

As far as Dana goes he is always positive but very honest and always teaching. I believe people respond the best to that style in performance related activities although sometimes having to kick some backside is necessary. His defense changing and zone press is the best in the country. Can someone tell me why he's not in the HOF???

Only if your on the west coast. The pac is always under ranked. We have toughest league schedule with 9 games. Why don't we do like sec acc big 10 and only play 8 it gives them an advantage the big 12 and us are only league to play 9. And it sure seems the other leagues only play 1 away non conference every other yr or is that only the Alabama tOSU Oklahoma s of the world

State played a great game but the Ducks were on a mission. How can the pundits back east not have us ranked and a high seed in the tournament considering we have finally got our team healthy and went 9 and 1 in our last 10 gms. Plus those gms were mostly on the road and in a 2 wks time period. I sure love our press and switching def so fun to watch and I sure would hate to play against.

Let's see if I remember the crash we had an under performing defense that couldn't stop the run, we had our #1RB hurt, we had an offensive line that didn't seem to improve, we had our best deep threat WR miss games along with a multitude of other players due to covid 19 and we had the youngest team in the country. I don't know what happened with Shough but all the things above had something to do with what happened to our offense last yr. I don't see how anyone can make a informed oppinion at this time one way or another.

I'm sorry I am 67 and struggle using the phone all the time even with instructions. Just got my first one 3 yrs ago and am definitely a fish out of water. Thanks for all your effort, I enjoy reading and throwing my 2 cents in.

I read somewhere that he wanted to come back before UCLA but the ducks turned him down.

Because of covid there was hardly any time to learn a new offense or get defensive players in shape. We had to replace a 4 yr starting QB with Shough and a whole new offensive line. A main running back who was hurt. And to top it off a very young team which usually shows up in road game losses. I posit we don't know what kind of offense we will have. Let's see what happens this yr. My guess is we are going to be quite happy even with all of our toughest games on the road. A side note. We went deep last yr which was a vast improvement over the previous yr. I can't wait to see what Moorhead will do once he finds his McSorley (QB@ Penn State) to run his offense.

I believe that our coaches are up to the task because of their track record. nuf said

Yeah and buffs just beat Bruins we're in 2nd baby first is next. Just got to win 2 at home

I posted an opinion in a earlier post that considering what he had to go through this last year I hope we didn't jump ship to soon.

I believe the lack of practice, the lack of consistency of playing with his big receivers, the lack of tailback who was a threat to run between the tackles after Verdel got hurt, a totally inexperienced O line and Moreheads RPO offense all contributed to his problems. I think he will do fine at Texas Tech and hope we didn't jump ship on him to soon I don't believe anybody could have overcome what he went through especially the way he was treated the last 2 games

2 many games in a row .the tournament already has teams that could play 4 games in 4 days

I felt it was a great season under the circumstances. Covid, new QB and line, loss of numorus players that were key on offense and defense. The 3 loses we had were away games. Exactly what young teams struggle with especially with no spring or fall camps. Also could Shough have gotten hurt so he didn't run as well after WSU Then he lost his confidence. Just wondering?

Agree with David M. Also the only reason Washington was champion was they didn't play us or any away games. Mr Klatt is just 1 of those talking heads. he's the 1 who is irrelevant.
