  1. Of course, this is the same computer that predicted wins for Alabama and Tennessee. ESPN’s FPI Predicts winner of Ohio State-Oregon SATURDAYTRADITION.COM ESPN's FPI took a stab at projecting who will come out on top in Eugene on Saturday night.
  2. You know, Mario brought that up. But not the linemen downfield or the targeting.
  3. Indiana should be getting the attention that is being showered on Miami. But Miami is, "The U" and Indiana is just having a great season.
  4. Have to give credit to a Husky. Brock Huard is a very good analyst.
  5. Even NCAA basketball during "March Madness" use location in seeding. The advantage that the SEC still enjoys, even in the new, improved Playoff format is maddening.
  6. You know, USC is now a Spoiler team. It would be okay if they lost next Saturday. But it would be better if they somehow beat Penn State.
  7. So, after enough time that teams can really be evaluated, Oregon is back at No.3, where they started the season.
  8. Good eye, Charles, and the last picture had my favorite Duck on the D side. Boettcher is a player I used to see playing on teams that Oregon didn't get. He's not that talented, won't get picked in the first round. But he's a leader, intensity drips off him. He wants to hit somebody on every play. That attitude carries over to the other players. This could be the best defense OBD has ever had, because they attack! This isn't a defense that reacts to the offense, it forces the action, like the SEC does.
  9. It's gonna get worse. Next week, Penn, State, then @ Maryland, Rutgers @ UW, Nebraska, @ UCLA, then finish with Notre Dame. Not seeing a lot of W's there.
  10. All of a sudden, I'm a Duke football fan. Duke, 5-1 plays @ Miami on Nov,2. Hopefully, Clemson - Duke for the ACC Championship.
  11. I don't know that it would be a huge drop. The loser would be 5-1, with a good loss. I'd say they stay in the top 10, unless it's a blowout.
  12. If Oregon played Miami, or any other team, the higher ranked they are, the better an Oregon win would look. I agree that one does a workout going through all this. My deal with Miami though is I see their ranking as clear example of college football being taken over by Entertainment driven forces. Miami is a story, now the officiating controversy adds even more to that. Fortunately, their ranking is just annoying so far.
  13. Brock Osweiler questions 'if officials are getting calls correct' after non-call AWFULANNOUNCING.COM Brock Osweiler questioned if "officials are getting the calls correct" after Miami benefited from an official ruling a second straight week.
  14. ACC Refs Bailed Out Miami On Bad Penalties BROBIBLE.COM Miami stayed undefeated with a massive comeback college football win over Cal on Saturday night. The Hurricanes were once again...
  15. Ohio State's receiving is more equally distributed: Jeremia Smith 23 receptions, 453 yards 6 TD's Emeka Egbuka 30 receptions 433 yards 5 TD's
  16. Blind comparison may favor Miami, but I think the Smell test goes in Oregon's favor.
  17. It was kind of poking the bear, wasn't it?
  18. A fine article, Jordan, though just as Gabriel's INT's should not be the fodder for the blatherer's, I don't think Chip can be faulted for leaving Westwood. UCLA football has been the model of mediocrity since Terry Donahue, who's initials are perfect for a football coach, was there.
  19. A Cal student won $100,000 for making a field goal on "GameDay"
  20. Yeah, but overall, a great football day,
  21. Martinez was at Oregon State last season.
  22. Once again, the Review loves Miami.
  23. Okay, Miami has the ball, trails 38-32. Needs a TD, starts at the 7. First play gets them to Cal's 15.
  24. Too easy of a TD run for Ward, 38-32. 4:04 left.
  25. Hmmm, 38-25 Cal, still 12 minutes left.
