  1. Jurrion Dickey is from California, and his top 5 has a Pac-12 lean, Oregon, USC, UCLA, and you don't have to be from Washington to put them on your list and ignore them, and Penn State. .
  2. And that Oregon would be No.1 in Total Defense. DJ accomplishing the Sacks prediction would definitely help with that.
  3. As much excitement as Duck fans had going into the Spring Game, watching Chase Cota made the experience better than most of us had hoped for, DJ is creating dreams, of him and what this D cab do in 2022. Can Seven follow No.6 and leave defenders grasping for air? Whittington? The depth at RB and WR is incredible, and it looks like starting QB is Bo's to lose.
  4. Richardson can make up for last season and Guerrier is looking to play with Barthelemy next season.
  5. This is how it goes now, back on May 9 the story was about Harmon coming back. But, then Barthelemy transferred over here, and yes, Bates, Please!!
  6. The Title days it all. Mark Emmert was a failed NCAA president. But removing him won't solve college sports' problems alone | Opinion NEWS.YAHOO.COM Mark Emmert leaves a job that few qualified people will want and an NCAA that has lost credibility with its members, Congress and...
  7. And this is a bad thing?
  8. I agree with this so much. A great defense can be just as exciting to watch and utterly sap the spirit out of the opponent even more than does a great offense. Sacks, hurries, 3 and outs, TO's. The other QB gets set, looks out, and his knees start to wobble. He knows he has to get the ball, but he doesn't want it. What play did I call, he asks himself? He looks at the RB behind, he's quivering, the WR won't even look at him, and the defense? They're all smiling, grinning, right at him.
  9. This is just me, silly fan, but the player I'm most excited about is Kasper. He's TE size with WR skillset, 6'5 195, and apparently a strong work ethic.
  10. At QB, I have Nix-Butterfield-Thompson. But, wow, look at the WR's, RIDICULOUS! Predicting Oregon's 2022 offensive two-deep following spring practice 247SPORTS.COM Predicting Oregon's 2022 offensive two-deep following spring practice
  11. I really like the idea of a defense being "Confrontational". That is exactly what I want a defense to be, Don't just react to what the offense is doing, but force it into submission.
  12. Richard Young is rated as the No.2 Running Back in the 2023 Class. He's a "one cut and go type of running back that's strong enough to get it done between the tackles." Richard Young, Florida 5-star running back, visiting Oregon Ducks this weekend - Scorebook Live NEWS.SCOREBOOKLIVE.COM The state of Florida is historically loaded with talent at the running back position in the class of 2023, boasting five of the nation's...
  13. There is money in golf! Massachusetts family wins $5 million verdict from country club after property hit by over 600 golf balls WWW.MSN.COM A Massachusetts couple won a verdict worth nearly $5 million from a local country club after suffering from a years-long, “continuous...
  14. Oregon Football: Breaking down how Ducks’ quarterback play can improve DUCKSWIRE.USATODAY.COM Kenny Dillingham offered notes on how each Oregon QB can improve this summer. We show examples of how these...
  15. It's great that all the coaches seem to be on the same page, amazing how this is the case as the staff was assembled as quickly as it was.
  16. This is very true, I'd much rather have some cupcakes than sliced liver!
  17. Fun is definitely important, David. Alabama looks like it's having fun, and I think that is part of why Alabama keeps winning the championships. Every season it starts again for them, keeping it going, don't lose to unranked teams, don't play down to the level of the opponent. All of that would be a drag, for the players and coaches if they weren't having fun. Saban will retire when it stops being fun. Lanning sure seems to understand that getting the message across to the players is a lot easier if they're having fun.
  18. I didn't have Montana in Favre's "Gunslinger" club. Congrats, Joe.
  19. The Classic "Favre Syndrome" There is no excuse for it really. Logic says if a receiver is in double or triple coverage, the other receivers are wide open. Favre was exciting and threw a lot of TD passes. But think how many more he'd have had if he'd thrown to one of the wide open guys more often?
  20. College football insider on USC: Temper expectations in 2022 WWW.ON3.COM Many expect USC to immediately leap into contention under Lincoln Riley in 2022, but one insider says to temper expectations.
  21. Welcome, McDawg, we enjoy it when fans of other teams show up and want to share their thoughts and opinions on the game between their team and the Ducks...when they do so in the manner that you and the other Georgia fans have done.
  22. That was the most enjoyable Spring Game I can remember watching. Part of that is due to the anticipation of the season. But more than that there was an atmosphere around the game that was just fun. The players looked like they were enjoying playing the game. That the players were enjoying themselves is big. We know that Lanning and the coaches mean business, this is not a program that is about "fun". This is a team that is going to be disciplined and focused. That the team can do that and enjoy it bodes well for the season.
  23. The Sooners were seat fillers.
  24. An epic come from behind win in the first game kept the Ducks from being swept at home by the frivolous felines from the Palouse. The pitchers are bailing water with sieves.
