  1. You only get one chance to make a first impression, and Oregon made the best of theirs. Oregon a Big Hit with latest wave of 5-stars and Blue Chippers. Steve Wiltfong 247sports
  2. So far, it hasn't mattered who the QB at WSU has been, they put up great numbers, De Laura is really good, and if Arizona can continue to improve like it has, they will be a player in the South pretty soon. Cal? Jake Plummer 1 was really good at ASU 24 years ago, not so sure about 2.0. Stanford? Agree with your analysis. Surprised to see such slim pickings at Oregon State, and Colorado. At Washington, it's "sit down Huard" Theoretically, the Huskies can beat the Spartans.
  3. In this article, Predicting College GameDay for the 2022 Season by Brad Crawford 247sports, the first week is pretty easy. But how about Week 8? Oh, and two times for Miami?
  4. Oregon Softball Third Baseman Rachel Cid to Return this Weekend, 'Continuing to Monitor' All-American Pitcher Brooke Yanez Oregonlive
  5. It really looks like the amalgamation of Mario and Miami is creating a glare. Diaz was doing fine, but Mario played at The U. The Miami fans didn't watch Oregon, were too immersed in one of their heroes coming back to even notice the games against Utah. Miami fans right now are convinced that Cristobal will have as much success as Saban would if he'd taken the job.
  6. The QB is the most important player on a football team. But only if the OL lets him play. Same thing with the stud RB who needs the OL to open the holes. Having a "weak" OL to any degree will be problematic for the Trojans. Burrow was effective at making broken plays work, but eventually, it's too much to overcome. Sacks are a real problem. Not only field position wise, but no matter how cool a QB is, frustration with the OL is inevitable.
  7. This article USC's Question Marks on 2022 Offensive Line might be Oversold by some Analysts is definitely written from a USC perspective and assisted by an excerpt from a Ducks Wire article. But before USC dismisses the importance of an OL, they need to talk to the Cincinnati Bengals.
  8. If Miami came to Autzen, any chance Mario would hear some boo's?
  9. That is a loaded Men's field, worthy of the Far West Classic back in the day. With only four teams for the Women's, not as deep, but Iowa State is currently 21-3.
  10. I still want to see Franck on the line against a field goal, and rushing the punter.
  11. Interesting that Michigan would be involved in two of the top ten games, and no, I don't think that Michigan will go 2-0 on thee ohio state, the same Buckeyes I'd bet to cover whatever spread is set for the game against the Domers. That's what I thought too about NC State and Clemson, Utah at Florida is certainly more important than is Cincy at Arkansas.
  12. The coach can only do so much. Altman's teams have established the norm of being one of the best teams in the country at this time of the season. This team has played very well, 11 of 13 is impressive. But they were so bad early that this 85% run still has them on the bubble.
  13. My thought on Helfrich and recruiting was that he was the most responsible for bringing Marcus Mariota to Oregon. You bring up a great point about Helfrich being caught right at the time when recruiting took a huge turn that he and his staff weren't acclimated to.
