  1. I disagree: Breland played A LOT, and made some pressures at key moments...
  2. Allar got picked to end the B1G Championship, and now this.... Let's continue this discussion in a new thread!
  3. Who do you give the game ball to? The defense was NAILS for three quarters, but the offense got it done at crunch time? Whew!
  4. I'll bet we're winning the time-of-possession game! (Sarcasm)
  5. And Indiana pulled it out and beat Iowa, 20-15, and goes to show what good defense can do. (And a home field advantage for Iowa)
  6. Here we are my Duck-Buddies, the thread for pondering the actual game as it happens. Let's discuss before, and during the game! I have made a major change in how we will moderate our GameDay threads. Bottom line, is that you will be allowed to spew your frustration, to vent, as you wish. But Note the Parameters: --This is for GameDay threads only; you have to behave in the regular forum threads as in the past. --You cannot take shots at those who disagree with you, just like in the forum during the week. Remember how we discussed this upfront in this thread. Let's Have Fun Posting During the Game!
  7. Ohio State limited Sayin to short throws, and a very vanilla, conservative offense. I think the Huskies are weaker on defense than the 24-6 loss indicated. And Iowa and Indiana are tied 13-13 in the fourth quarter? Whew!
  8. Wow...Minnesota beat Rutgers, 31-28, as the Scarlet Knights missed a FG at the end to try to tie it up. Both are good teams, not great ones. But a good team on a hot day....
  9. Minnesota came out and dominated the LOS in the third quarter to take a 24-21 lead after three, and I'm impressed with the improvement of the Gopher freshman QB. Minnesota looks stouter in the trenches, and it is starting to show. Illinois came out in the second half to drive to a FG, stop the Trojans on downs, and then throw a wheel route to their RB for a 66 yard TD to take 24-10 lead on USC midway through the third quarter!
  10. Whoa! Halftime scores... Illinois leads USC at half, 14-10, as they are running right at the Trojans. Rutgers is turning into a poor-man's Indiana with their improved passing attack, as they lead Minnesota at half 21-14. Rutgers is not going to be an easy-out when we play AT their stadium later....
  11. Lavar Arrington: Penn State, of course. McAfee: Penn State Saban: Penn State Herbie: Penn State Dez Howard: Oregon We gotta show them ALL!
  12. This bandwagon has a ton of room, as besides....you're already one of us! We enjoy your thoughts here, as this could be a special season for Oregon.
  13. Got some good ones tonight, with Florida State vs. Virginia, and then at 6:00 PM PST...we have Arizona State vs. TCU. (Dilly-Dilly!) Big ones on Saturday!
  14. This is great stuff as the analyst takes examples from his two years at Oregon and some from his time UTSA as OC there.
  15. This is a fantastic experience for all the underclassmen on the team; this game will only strengthen them going forward with all the big games coming up!
  16. I have my doubts about the 'Lion offensive line being as effective as last year. I would expect us to move our free safety up closer to the Linebacker zones to stop the big running plays. Do it until they outscore us with Allar's passing! Good topic.
  17. Very informative and entertaining article Jordan! Your stats on the QBs further supports my notion that even without big-game experience....Dante Moore will be the difference. Well, that and I have my doubts about the Penn State trenches being as good as last year.
  18. 30Duck has provided his prediction of... 34-27 Ducks 1 Turnover 1 Sack 246 Passing Yards MUCH more reasonable than mine, but my emotions got the best of me...
  19. Hello My OBD FishDuck Forum Friends! What is your prediction of Oregon versus Penn State? Take your shot and let's have fun with it... Let's get these predictions started, and remember I look for the differential between your predicted points with both teams from the actual points. I will use the tiebreaker information when needed, so provide all the data below! Entries without ALL the information are invalid, and predictions on other threads don't count. We Have Two New Rules: If two winning scores are the same? The first one who posted wins, automatically. TerryM9 gets 42-6 locked in every time as his. (I love this guy!) Please follow directions, as I need all that is below for tiebreakers: --the winner --the score --the amount of turnovers Oregon creates --the number of sacks Oregon records on the opposing team --the number of passing yards by the Ducks. My prediction is: Oregon 38-20 2 2 279 Does My Score Look Familiar? This is the uniform we should be wearing...
  20. BTW...everybody is welcome to start pondering threads. Help us out and get the discussion going!
  21. I am not sure to reject all the praise, (Former OL Coach Neil Zombokos never liked, "any sugar for our offense") or to love it, as I am seeing some superb analysis out there praising our defensive "matchup-zone," or the rushing skills of Matayo U. that is under-appreciated, or how good our offensive line is, or the uber throwing skills of Dante Moore. They have a ton of proof for their assertions, as they show video and break it down. I see it, and agree, but again....it is only four games against weak opponents. I am beginning to feel a lot better about Our Beloved Ducks...how about YOU?
  22. This is very similar to what I am dealing with. I hope your recovery comes about, as I hope mine will.
  23. I have many months of healing work to do, and I will not be able to walk well enough by then. But I know that NJDuck is going....perhaps something can be arranged?
