Thanks DnC. I love hearing about these coaches. Almost as much as I love hearing about the players. Seems that every coach on this staff has that IT factor. Its infectuous. Love it.

So Ducks have the #1 O-line and the #2 LB group in the country. Arguably 2 of the most important groups on offense and defense. Still Ducks are huge underdogs v. UGA. Looks like the DB's are an improvement from last year. The case has also been made that the WR, QB and RB rooms are better. That leaves the D-line and coaching. Lost KT to the draft but the overall D-Line could be better. And Mariø is gone. I would hate to be the ones setting betting line for this Duck team. Waking up at 2 a.m. from night terrors and cold sweats doesn't sound like much fun. Everyone can slobber over SC but the Ducks are going to be scary in 22. Kirby Smart and his staff are well aware of the challenges playing Oregon poses. Sept 3rd can't get here soon enough.

I see USC is not on the list. They are buried somewhere in the middle of the Pac. I guess the crowning of the king will have to wait.

Forgive me if I hold off on crowning USC until they beat half the teams in the pac. So far, the only way USC has remotely beaten the Pac is with slimy conference realignment. No... i don't think USC finds its way to the top of the B1G for many reasons. First, they will have to get through Oregon. Second, cheaters never prosper. They had to cheat in the early 2k's and now they pulled this garbage, hurt a lot of folks. USC demise will be spectacular.

A good rule to live by: When in doubt, do nothing. I agree that Oregon should take a breath, step back and wait for the right opportunity. That doesn't mean sit idle. Focus on what they can control. Development of these men on and off the field. Become a better progr'm. Prepare for and enjoy the upcoming season. The stuff inside the hullahoop. I am convinced the perfect situation for OBD will present itself with in the next 12 months. Be prepared but build and enjoy what's in front of us. Season is 5 weeks away. It's going to be a blast. Ducks have a ton of talent and what I hope to be a great staff. Future looks great, let's not blow it up with knee-jerk reaction based on fear.

Some guys just can't be the boss. Helfs not the only one. Mariø comes to mind.

Helf was the OC when MM was a Duck. Gotta give Helf a ton of credit for what Marcus did. Helfrich is a good coach, just not a head coach.

tOSU, Michigan, Wiss, Penn st, Mich St... makes USC, at best, 6 or 7th best team in the B1G. 7 losses and you are sitting at home in Dec.

Just a thought, can Oregon negotiate its own TV deal? Or are they tied to Pac?

On-field and off-field leadership is absolutely crucial. What give me confidence that strong leadership will emerge? Coach Love's comment about turning ownership of the team over to the players. Easy to underestimate that change of culture from the Micrø manager we had last year. Looking forward to how this plays out as 22 season progresses.

6'6" 358#, this kid could easily drop to 330# and gain strength. Would be a great addition to this talented Duck class.

This is so dirty. See how this shakes out but if the B1G and SEC get their way I hope everyone outside shut their tv and streaming services down.
