Thanks LaMarr. I think Butters is a step in front of TT at this point. Seemed to move through his progressions fluidly in spring game. Nice accuracy. Would like to see a little more zip on the 10 to 20 yrd range. Both Butterfield and TT are young. Neither was needed early in their college careers. Poor player development with the last staff really hurt these guys. BB wasn't ready and was thrown to the wolves early. Might be a blessing AB stayed healthy. I fall in to the MM/JH trap. It's hard not to compare these guys against past players. MM won a Heisman and Herbert is an absolute Dude. He should have been put in position to grab Oregon a second trophy. Ø is the common denominator between JH and these kids. What a shame.

I doubt any school challenges. Everybody knows it's tOSU. It's silly but it's theirs. Plus... there is huge respect that program. Arguably a top 3 program for years.

Oregon is on "also visiting" list of some impressive dudes. Going up against blueblood schools like Bama, tOSU and USC. Take a big set for a school like Oregon to get in the mix with the big boys. Gotta start landing some of these guys soon. It's a tall order but if UO whiffs on most of these guys, it won't look good and will steep'n the hill. Next few weeks are critical. Going up against these powerhouse programs put UO in the "little brother " position. But as often happens, little brother becomes big brother. Rooting hard over here. Let's hope Lanning and his staff can reel in some of these big fish.
