Yikes! I will leave my comment there. Going to be tough to stay out of politics on this one Charles. Thanks for the info but I am going to try and leave it alone for now. Be interesting to see how this shakes out.

Any word on a public statement from the Ducks?
-
Oregon could end up in the B1G, SEC or independent. Ducks are a solid brand with a ton of fans and interest globally. I am not a pessimist, I believe the Ducks are a huge value to Any conference. They will be in a position to compete with the best for years to come. What a great opportunity to better your position. Duck fans have complained about Pac being weak and getting no respect for years now. Seems like some don't believe in OBD or that OBD is capable of positioning themselves to thrive for years to come. I am not one of those people. Oregon went from a nobody with a bunch 2* guys to an international brand competing with the best for recruits and playing in championship games. Oregon athletics is respected across the board from golf to football. So yea... I figure Oregon will thrive in this environment. They are winners. I relate to those that started in the gutter and climbed to the top of the mountain. Neither I or the Ducks have made it to the top...YET! Mark my words, I will plant my flag at the top before its over, so will Our Beloved Ducks!

Oregon v. Michigan: 39-7 all time 2W 3L Oregon v. Mich St: 7-6 all time 4W 3L Oregon v. tOSU: 35-28 1W 9L Oregon v. Wis: 28-27. 3W 3L Oregon v. Neb. 42-35 2W 6L Last time Oregon played these teams Oregon won. Oregon has done well against the B1G over the past 2 decades. Oregon can compete against anyone in the country. On the gridiron, in marketing and now on the recruiting trail. Go Ducks!

Pac 12 on Life Support and Larry Scott Put it There
Log Haulin replied to Tandaian's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Every other school in the Pac are going to be a little more excited come game day against the LA schools. Going to hit a little harder, be a little faster. I would hate to be a Bruin or Trojan at the bottom of a scrum. They will emerge with teeth marks, knuckle bruises and the like. Oh well, play on. -
SEC opened a can with grabbing Okie and aTm. That set the B1G in motion to dominate college Football. Looks Like Fox and the B1G are set on beating ESPN and the SEC. My money is on the B1G but we will see. End of the day, Oregon is going to thrive in this new landscape

Lanning will be tested early with recruiting the 23 class. The landscape has changed immensely. We are about to find out just how talented Lanning and his staff are on the trail. What a crucial time for this news to break. Good luck coach.

Oregon is a global brand. They have the 7th largest fan base in the nation. They have Nike. Oregon has an "IT" factor that both the B1G and SEC would welcome with open arms. Oregon has top notch leadership in their AD. Whether the Ducks jump into one of the big 2 or go independent the will thrive. Slide into the B1G or SEC and they get automatic exposure. If they go independent the mountain is much steeper with TV exposure. Oregon has climbed the mountain before. That little ol' school in Or'gone with the 2 and 3 star players. Yea... Orygun will be fine.

College Football is All About the Money...."I'm Out."

Oct 22nd, Chip Kelly will wish he has resigned instead of participating in the destruction of Pac-12 athletics. Hope he gets the beating of his life on the field. -
Gut Feeling and Rumors: Oregon-UW Next to Big 10
Log Haulin replied to Darren Perkins's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
It's really the only option. SEC and Big10 are the only viable conferences in football. They have effectively created a monopoly for recruits and national viewership. Clemson, FSU, ND etc will join one of the big 2 soon. It's dirty. -

I know one thing for sure. For the next 2 years, USC and UCLA are going to get cracked in the mouth. Play after play, week after week, teams are going to be head hunting. Every team in the Pac-12 has circled these games on the calendar for the next 24 months. -

USC and UCLA has been garbage on the gridiron for years. They sucker punched the rest of the pack. The arrogance is astonishing. They will both be a lower tear B10 team. Ducks will always be my 1A. Now I have a 1B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I,J,K,L,M,N,O and P. Wierd how they are all in the BIG -
We live in a world of me me me me me me me! No worries, Duck will join you so we can slap you around in the BIG west division. It'll be fun trojan man. You aren't going to escape destruction at the hands of Oregon.

USC, UCLA Looking to Leave Pac-12 for Big Ten in 2024
Log Haulin replied to Kurt Rambis's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Oregon has the 7th largest fan base in the nation. Global brand. USC is 9th largest. If Oregon wants into B10 they will be in the B10. FOX aired a few Duck games last season so that relationship exists already. Duck future will be dictated on Duck terms. -

Merge the B10 and P12. Make the Rose Bowl the conference championship game. SEC can't compete.
