MC couldn't take risk with the O. His defense ranked near the bottom of most statistical categories. The most deadly was 3rd down conversion rates and redzone scoring. I am ok with some mistakes offensively as long as the D performs at a high level. Gives the offense some confidence they can recover from a TO or two. Duck D will have a lot to say about how much risk Dilly is willing to take.

I read somewhere that Nix is projected #15 to win the Heisman. Catch lightning in a bottle and he could be in the convo. He definitely has the talent around him. If that happens, even briefly, and the Ducks are probably in position for a NY6 game at minimum.

True, MC was painful to watch on game day. Lanning can't do any worse. Just haven't seen him coach a game yet. He is knocking it out of the park in every way so far. I suspect he is going to become a top 5 coach in less than 10 years.

Salvaging the 22 class was impressive. I am convinced this staff will put together top 5 classes on occasion and top 10 year to year. What we don't know is if game day coaching and development will improve. From watching the spring game, I suspect it will.

I wanna see SC have one lose until they get a 2nd in the conf championship. All while Oregon secures a seat at the table.
