Ragging on officials is part of basketball…..college and pro. Coaches are always looking for the “next call” to go their way. Just imagine how many 15 yard penalties would be called in football if coaches went ballistic on every call they didn’t agree with. Mick Cronin is pissed at his team, more than the officials. And it looks like he may be losing the locker room…..and possibly his job at season’s end.

Is Franklin having issues other than the occasional drop? Like running the wrong route?

Franklin should have caught that third down pass, no question about it……even though it was a little high he’s got to make that catch. But I wasn’t at all pleased with Bo’s reaction to it. Throwing his hands up and grabbing his helmet was not a good look.

Is a cursory background check even a part of the recruiting process?

I have never ever rooted for Ohio State and won’t start now…..especially since my grandson is a freshman at Michigan. Go Irish!

First and goal at the one….and they decide to get cute. Stupid play calls. If Ewers knew how to take a snap they would have had 4 chances to sneak it in.

At least we would not have been embarrassed. The Ducks will bounce back. If Moore turns out to be QB we all hope he’ll be, and the defense steps up, I expect the Ducks to have a legitimate shot at the playoffs next season.

Well, his prediction was that the outcome would be lopsided, no matter who won. Turns out he was right.

“Who cares what anyone says.” Totally agree. Just play the damn games! Oregon is fortunate that it has played consistently well all season. The same can’t be said about Ohio State, which laid a giant egg in their rivalry game against an average Michigan team and was limited to 10 points…..at home! A real stinker. Any team, at any time, can by victimized by a lackluster performance, no matter the circumstances. Oregon, fortunately, has avoided that. The Ducks, after a less than impressive start in September, have played better than anyone in the country, and they deserve to be ranked No. 1. If they play up to their standards, limit penalties, and get a little luck along the way, they definitely can win it all. GO DUCKS! ……..Happy Holidays to all!

The pass rush will be key. If Howard has time to stand back there and look around Jeremiah Smith will burn us. He’s a great route runner and catches everything. His running mate isn’t bad either.

Who cares? Win the games, prove them wrong. Then we can gloat! Beat Ohio State and our chances skyrocket.

I think it’s great that Ohio State is favored. It helps Oregon….doesn’t hurt them.

Definitely a winnable game for the Ducks…..and losable, too. If Gabriel outplays Howard, Ducks win.

He was very productive in ‘23, and given the opportunity at Oregon he is likely to show that his soph year was an outlier. I hope the Ducks land him

Agreed, but what needs to happen is the automatic top 4 seeding of conference champions must go away. That would negate the re-seeding discussion.

While we all hope that Oregon wins The Natty, I would surprised if it happens. Winning three straight games against against top competition, on a neutral field, is a monumental challenge. Could it happen? Absolutely. But I certainly wouldn’t bet on it. ** I would LOVE to be proven wrong.
