  1. This is such a great site and we have Charles to thank for that. We “speak” to each other in a civil manner, which results in a discourse that is more substantive than the maniacal rants on other ungoverned sites. I love my Ducks, and am disappointed that we lost to the Huskies, for the second time, but they were the better team. They out-schemed us and out performed us. No question about it. And the outcome of Friday’s game might have been lopsided had Ferguson not made two incredible circus catches for TD’s. I will be rooting for the Huskies against Texas when they face their former coach. I always root for the Pac-12. Always.
  2. It wouldn’t shock me if Bo decides to play, though it might not be the best business decision. I just think he’ll want to finish on a high note and stick with his teammates one last time.
  3. I’m multi-tasking, too. Watching football…..and reading the Thursday Murder Club. Great way to spend an afternoon.
  4. The rules are specific and very clear. No gray area. Charles has been very consistent in enforcing them. That’s what makes this site so great. READ THE RULES!
  5. Tons of tickets are still available on Ticketmaster, one of which is mine, even after a couple of price reductions.
  6. 64+ teams play in March Madness and every year there are surprising upsets. With a 12 team college football playoff there will also be some shockers…..just makes it all the more fun….and interesting.
  7. How did Jonathan Smith lie? I’m not on Twitter, or X, but if he in fact made those comments, he was telling the truth, not lying. And when he commented to Canzano that his agent was checking things out, wasn’t that the truth?
  8. I would like to help but I'm binge watching Bosch Legacy right now.
  9. If Bama beats Georgia, what does that mean for one loss Texas, which beat Alabama? Will the selection committee show any love for the Pac-12…..as it crumbles and dies?
  10. Daniels’ numbers are phenomenal. But…….if Nix has a great game AND the Ducks beat Washington on Friday, I think Bo wins it. His phenomenal TD pass to Franklin against the Beavs, a 60-yard across the body rainbow, was a “wow” moment that may in the end be the difference. A Heisman moment to be sure.
  11. What happens if Bama beats Georgia? Michigan Bama Georgia ? If Oregon wins on Friday, does that secure the 4th spot? A Husky win would certainly put them in the playoff……at No.2 most likely. Then what?
  12. Well, we know his draft stock won’t be any higher next year, so why stay? And if the primary concern is that as a top pick he could end up with a bad team, that concern will be there next year, too. He’ll take the money…..
  13. Beg to differ. I think having the head coach on the sideline is important, especially as it pertains to Harbaugh and Saturday’s game against Ohio State. While the coordinators make the calls, the head coach often consults, and sometimes overrules his assistants. It would be a huge boon to the Wolverines if Harbaugh were to be on the sideline Saturday. And if Michigan loses at the Big House, Harbaugh’s absence will surely be cited as a contributing factor.
  14. Of course they stand a chance. And I hope our players acknowledge that as well. The last thing we want is over-confidence heading into a game with such massive consequences.
  15. The DUCKS have given up a ton of yards through air, but that’s primarily due to teams playing catch-up because they are so far behind.
  16. I think it stinks……
  17. What an expensive miscalculation…..giving Jimbo a 4 year extension just two years ago.
  18. Great article, David I love your stuff……so well thought out and stated You are such a great asset to this board.
  19. Oil money. They’ll get that out of the change jar…….and have plenty left to pay Oregon the $20 million exit fee.
  20. If you ignore the penalties, you’re ignoring the elephant in the room. This needs to be fixed. A very uneven performance by the Ducks. Hopefully it won’t happen, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the Ducks take a dip in the rankings. At this point in the season it’s a beauty contest, and the Ducks don’t want to end up being Miss Congeniality. Very fortunate that Bucky is fine, and we have Bo, who is inching closer to the Heisman. What a fabulous pickup up he has been.
  21. A close Husky win benefits Oregon the most, providing the Ducks win out AND beat Washington in the PAC-12 championship game.
  22. “A great season can be ruined by a single slip-up.” We’ve see that happen here, too.
  23. Regardless of the familial connection, Tez is a major upgrade over Hutson as a receiver.
