I was shocked he didn’t go last year. In reality he got to learn under 2 pretty good offensive coordinators so if he didn’t learn from it then it wasn’t meant to be. Wish him luck wherever he beads up minus a few places.

I’m getting used to this stuff but it doesn’t mean I like it. If the kids want money then they need to ball out and make a spot for themselves. The top schools are not giving participation trophies out and I don’t ever think that’s going to change. Loved his loyalty to the Ducks which is a rare thing in itself. Hope he goes to a school where he won’t have to sit but can’t be sure where that is. Good luck young man.

Oregon State has become a farm team for the rest of the Power teams. This will only be reality for the next few weeks. Any player that wants to upgrade their position in the ncaa will leave this junior college in a hurry. I do believe, and I repeat myself, the rats will end up being a grade below PSU. And that is not Penn State.

I think if Moore wanted to sit and develop he would have gone to the Ducks in the first place.

This game won’t be any better than playing eastern Washington or Portland state. Might as well schedule in Treasure Valley while we are at it if they still play football. 98% of the players know nothing about that rivalry and probably don’t care. But after hearing the bashing they receive when they run onto the field might inspire them to beat the crud out of them.

Trust me when I say that the players that will suit up for this game will be ready to play and hopefully put blinders on to muddle thru all the negative comments before the game is even played. Go s

Ditto that and what a great smile. We at Oregon were very lucky to have gotten such a class individual and to give us a season and a QB we won’t soon forget. It’s true that it will be tough to get another Bo and we must thank Auburn for being such a mess and Dan for believing he was the guy. Still one more game to play and hopefully that smile will be on his face again. Thank you Bo.

I got in a little spat yesterday with a Beavus fan for pretty much the same thing. After 3 minutes of telling him the truth the argument was over. Most of their fans have no clue about the reality of what happened. They choose to blame Puddles for everything that has happened to them. if they think Karma is coming they are correct, in the form of the Mt West, their bowl game, their recruiting, the loss of most of their studs to the portal, and quite possibly Portland State.

I would only play sec powers at Autzen unless they gave Rob several million to visit them. Only way I would do a home and home with them is if they came here first. We will have plenty of tough road games every season without these kinds of risk. Not worth the risk in my opinion. Sec teams have made a living out of playing teams like Chantanooga and mombootechbeachstate middle school for years without penalty.

It’s most of our opinions Charles. We probably don’t want the portal guy but from where we sit it looks like we need it.

It’s the I want it now mentality. Colleges want it and have little patience to wait if they want to evolve. High school QBs, even if they are the cream at the top, have very little chance to start and be successful at a blue blood program. If the kid doesn’t want to sit then he can transfer to another school is an option but will more than likely sit at that school as well. It’s the one position that is the most important to the team so I don’t see anything changing unless they change the portal rules. Transfers should have to sit for a year to keep the big money programs from using their endless resources to steel players from other schools not so fortunate. The NCAA has really never governed much of anything so I don’t see it changing. For us fans it’s been a good thing however. Players may opt to stick around another year rather than being drafted by the worst teams in the nfl. Bo is a great example. It’s made free agent markets out of college athletics. It is what it is.

I think it was the game plan we employed that helped do us in. We pretty much played in a 7 yard window until we got so far behind that we had to start stretching the field. The mutts seemed to know we were going to do this and it paid off for them for a big lead. Seemed like our players were stuffed on almost every play in the first qtr. I hope we learned from this mistake and go after the opponents secondary from the start of each and every game. We made their defense better than it was.

IMO any of the QBs in our barn either knows they are good enough to be part of this team or probably transfer out or possible they just like being here. Im sure it will all buff out in the end. I would think TT already knows his path and if he has doubt’s weather he can be #1 one then he should leave. For some reason I have never liked his body language, just doesn’t seem as engaged in the process as he needs to be to crack #1. Not a bad idea to bring in new blood for competition and let the better man win the job.

Let’s be honest here Oregon doesn’t deserve anything after that miserable shoeing Friday night. This is their penalty. Enjoy the game.

I quit reading all the negative comments, total waste of time. Support your team or don’t say anything. Please.

It is a long way from home. Traveling so far from home if you have a close family would be extremely hard.

I too don’t care who we play I just hope the players and coaches all stick to their dream and stay on focus. Playing in a bowl game is not as important as it was before the BCS and holding a team together after such a huge disappointment for the players will not be easy. We as fans will all be back next year and hopefully we don’t lose a bunch of players over this. This will be a major indication of how DL will do going forward. Im sure that WS will be a great play caller some day but he lacked creativity last night and Deboer made him pay for it. He opened up the offense only because he had to. If he’d have stretched that defense from the start I’m sure he would have been in the game at the start. IMHO

I too have not watched any football today. Gosh I thought I would be in the minority. Can’t wait for signing day and hope next season is as entertaining as this one. Guess I will drown my taste buds tomorrow watching NFL tomorrow at the local pub where I can watch all the games at once. Lot of Duck fans will be there so I will have to re-live the disappointment again but that is football. It has been a great season and loads of fun pondering, Howard’s favorite quote I think, over the success and failures of our beloved Ducks. Thanks Mr. FishDuck.
