The conversations going on, if you search around a little, are evidence that there is unrest over the new head coach that was hired. Not total panic yet but many are showing discomfort. Disrespect for other players runs all through football. Mostly noted by wide receivers and corner backs. MC never got it under control at Oregon and was probably the most disappointing part of his so called culture rant every time we heard him talk. To many penalties on or at the end of crucial 3rd downs. Get up dust yourself off and get your butt ready for the next play. I think DL is definitely headed down the correct path.

I am with you 1Duck. Body language by some of our players last year was not good and it got worse at the first Utah game. You just aren’t going to get a team full of Dyes or Sewells. Just not possible but would be nice.

This is exactly the reason it is so hard to put together a winning program. All the talent in the world is only as good as the effort they put in to be successful. Nothing is given to you now like it was in high school. Time to step up and do what is wright for the group. Not a time for anyone to be selfish.

In my day if you got caught skiing or motorcycle riding you were kicked off the team. Period.

The key is can he get a good enough QB to get that job done. We will see.

I hated both of those races. The 100 and 200 were more to my liking.

Can’t teach speed, this kid seems to have it along with stamina. The 400 is one of the toughest to run in track.

In Flowes only game he put on an impressive display of tackling for sure. The linebacker Corp at Oregon is the best potential of any we’ve had.

I’ve always wondered why when looking at Rivals or 247 Sports when a recruit picks one of the heavy hitters his rating can jump 10 to 50 player positions. It can happen in reverse if lower tier schools get the pick. It doesn’t happen all the time but it does happen. I’ve seen Duck recruits drop 30 players in the past. Makes me wonder just a bit.

Good friend of mine married a Wisconsin girl and she said our cheese is much better. They since divorced and she stayed in Oregon. Family has season tickets at Lambo field and are huge packer fans. Guess she chose the Ducks over the Weather in Green Bay.

Along with 3 studs up front you also need quality back ups or the starters will get wore down chasing a lot of these mobile QBs around that exist in college football. The more time the big dogs spend on the field the less effective they will probably be. The 2 deep is so important.

2 out of 3 isn’t terrible, DL may not start out being the best CEO but as far as recruiting and coaching he should be in good shape. I’m willing to give him a while to learn the CEO aspect. It’s up to the fans to have some patience after all, except for leaving us a good base of recruits MC left a mess that is hard to wrap my head around.

I have a feeling he won’t get drafted. But good luck. I think DL will be hunting down a transfer or two to fill the gap. Probably already has couple in mind.

I totally agree with your assessment. SC will rise again and much faster than we would hope. I’ll say it again if he gets his QB, which I think he probably will, Game over.

Looks like the fans that wanted the Trojans back on top might get their wish sooner than later. Not sure how many scholarships Riley has left but he is quickly assembling a powerhouse and if he gets his guy at QB look out. Looks like that offense might have the potential to score 40 plus a game and that my friends is a scary thought. If a team is putting up that kind of numbers that means the other team doesn’t have the ball and your defense will be wore out chasing them around. No one is sure what he will have in the trenches but it will be better than before. Good thing we avoid having to play them twice next season cause that might not bode well. Careful what you ask for my friends cause we just might get it.

Solid back. Took the bull by the horns when he got his chance. I’m sure he was told he would be a late round pick at best. Love his heart. I think he could make a Wes Walker type slot back if he worked hard. Not sure he will start at sc but he will work harder than the rest and that will make them all better. Scary thought. I ran 11 in college. Trust me it is not that fast. The track guys beat my butt.

The thing I fear most is traveling to Georgia And getting injuries trying to beat a team full of big and fast nfl talent. This game to me could derail the hopes for the rest of the season if the wrong players get injured in a game we shouldn’t be exposed to out of the gate. Who ever makes these schedule blunders isn’t thinking about big picture for sure. BYU won’t be much fun either. Lets all hope for the best and get through that gauntlet unscathed.
