I just wonder how many players will be forced to look elsewhere if DL starts using the win and the portal to acquire some high end talent. Our heads might be spinning even more than they are now. Fun times ahead me thinks. Unless of coarse we all loose our minds. gos

Oregon Target Cyrus Moss is Going to Miami
Just Ducky replied to 30Duck's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
If he indeed does go to Miami and plays for MC I know I will throw up. If DL wants him there is still time to flip him, might be more interested in getting a proven pass rusher through the portal, maybe 2. Moss might be a project unlike KT. Not a lot of meat on those bones. -
Oregon’s Most Successful NFL Draft Pick Players

Forgot about Tyner. He was a beast in high school. He had a total of 749 yards and 10 touchdowns in one game, I repeat one game, which is a career for most. Kind of of a disappointment as a Duck. -
New Oregon CB Coach Brings Top Defender with him to Oregon.
Just Ducky replied to DanLduck's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
It is a nice thing to have other colleges train players for the first or second years and then steal them through the transfer portal. Alabama is using it rather nicely and is all perfectly legal. Tampering is running amuck I think. So use it or get left in the dust for sure. looks like DL knows how to use it. -
Will Coach Locklyn Restore Oregon’s Running Back Legacy?
Just Ducky replied to FishDuck Article's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
I believe that if LMJ wouldn’t have been a Duck Kenyon Barner would have set Oregon records that would never be broken. Don’t forget the cheap shot up at WSU on a kick return that wasn’t flagged that cost KB part of his season. And of course his 300 yard game at USC. The perfect running back for college football. -

Reminded me of Colt Lyerla for some reason. Couldn’t stay out of trouble. I thought he was going to be a hall of fame tight end in the NFL. Had all kinds of talent when he was at Oregon. So sad. -
Oregon’s Most Successful NFL Draft Pick Players

My gosh I forgot A J Feeley. He rode more pine in both college and the pros than anyone that was drafted that I can think of. Seems like he played for ever. Probably made a lot of money in the process. -

Love going down memory lane. My top 10 favs Mel Renfro 10 pro bowls 2 Super Bowls. Dan Fouts 6 pro bowls Bobby Moore 4 pro bowls Russ Francis 3 pro bowls 1 Super Bowl Dave Wilcox 7 pro bowls Norm Vanbroklin 9 pro bowls 2 nfl championship rings Haloti Ngata 5 pro bowls 1 Super Bowl Marcus Mariota Johnathan Stuart 1 pro bowl last but not least. Dennis Dixon 2 Super Bowls sitting the bench. If not for his injuries probably wins the Heisman and a national champioship. Lots of great players have gone to Oregon and there will be more. If Herbert stays healthy he could become the best pro of them all. gos -
Holy Crap! A Dan Lanning and Georgia Primer...
Just Ducky replied to Charles Fischer's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
I was at that game and ended up tailgating with Tennessee fans. They were the nicest fans I’ve ever been around. They all were rooting for the Ducks to beat Bama in the championship game. Kinda shocked me actually. They new they had no chance to beat us. Those days are over, for now anyway. -
Ranking PAC-12 2022 out of Conference (OOC) Schedules
Just Ducky replied to Jon Joseph's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
The hole the pack is digging is going to be tooooo deep to climb out of. It’s no wonder a lot of these western recruits are heading east. Playing Georgia at home was idiotic at best. I predict a 1 and 3 start for the Ducks and I see no reason to change my mind. Unless of coarse DL can bring the Georgia defense with him. -
I’ve always had a soft spot for baseball players becoming QBs. They learn from childhood to make throws from all different arm positions and foot positions . AB could only throw an accurate ball when his feet were planted firmly on the ground. I’m sure AB looked good in practice but he was horrible at improvising when pressured. Ashford was probably the best athlete in the QB room and probably would be again next season. MC was going to have no part of that. There have been some excellent QBs in the nfl that were excellent base ballers. Brady, Mahomes, Wilson, Herbert, Murrey, and Elway just to name a few. Sorry to see Ashford go but we all knew it was coming.

I love the fact that most of the hires haven’t been a one trick pony in their careers. Most have experience at different levels and positions so they should understand the process of combining their knowledge for a common goal. Hopefully stubbornness will be less of an issue with this staff. Teamwork is essential to reach the wanted destination and was woefully missing the last few years. Im excited to see these guys go to work. Go s

Robby Ashford, Oregon QB to the Portal. Will he be the Only One?
Just Ducky replied to WolfDuck's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
A serious waste of talent for sure. -
Media hype any more just drives me crazy. It is all speculation for sure. Our defense saved the bacon in several games this season while our offense barely kept our heads above water. There is an large amount of learning these players need that wasn’t taught to them by the last staff. Till our defense learns how to tackle and keep ball carriers in front of them, which Geo. did an amazing job of, the points given up will not change much. That means the offense needs to be more consistent and not go backwards when it gets in the red zone. How many times did we hear, We need to clean some things up. While all the while things just got dirtier. Only time will tell. See you at the spring game. gos

Thanks goes out to MC and his staff for coaching down a potential Heisman winner. -
Lanning’s Bulldog Defense: I’m Impressed, Are You?
Just Ducky replied to FishDuck Article's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Hard not to like what we saw last night. A group of studs playing defense like Dick Laboes old defenses. Tackleing, which has has been an afterthought in Eugene for some time now, was a thing of beauty. I’m sure we will have far less injuries if the new staff can teach those proper techniques to the Ducks. If we can can come up with some corners who can get up on receivers and not let them run free across the middle our front seven will improve automatically. Agree with 1Ducker1, if we can get 60 to 70% of that defense the rest of the pack is in big trouble. Once again excited about the Ducks new staff. Can’t wait for the future to begin. Go s -
Now...Do you think that Cincinnati Belonged?
Just Ducky replied to Charles Fischer's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
They did everything they needed to get there. Doesn’t mean they belonged there. -
What Could've, Would've, Should've, No, Will Be!

AB has serious footwork liabilities. However when he does step into his throws he has much better accuracy. I said better not good. -
Happy New Year With Two-Deep Depth Chart of '22 Ducks

Nice solid base and it should go well with whatever DL and the coaching staff can bring into the mix. Be nice to get a couple pass rushers to go with this group. Gonna be fun to watch. -
The pack 12s finest.

Notice Saban started out with pace and caught Cincinnati off guard. I wonder if MC is paying attention. . Cinci probably won’t see the end zone today and they can’t stop the run. Mich Georgia should be a much better game.
