A college draft would equalize the playing field for 1 recruiting class then the next year those kids might be jumping into the portal and Alabama would get a bigger advantage to have a look at these kids development at other schools. The portal won’t go away that’s for sure and the have and have nots will still be the same. Any way lawyers have turned this thing into a gigantic mess that is just going to get worse, not better. They will I’ll get their share of the pie and it will be a large share for sure.

Win or lose I want to see fire in their bellies out of the gate. If not they will get hammered. Pretty simple.

Exactly why we won’t miss MC and his staff. Herbert was Heisman material and MC made him look like an average pack 12 QB. No touch on the ball and locked in on primary receivers plus the guy has shone good running ability. All it took was a descent qb coach and some creative offense at the Chargers camp to turn him into an above average QB. Way to go MC.

The film on this kid is pretty good. Good length and quickness. He could stand some more weight as it looks his frame can support it. Good hands controlling the blockers in front of him with pretty good leverage. Doesn’t quit on plays and has a high motor. Lanning and the weight staff staff should be able to create a nightmare with this young man for opposing QBs. Hope you become a Duck young man. We need a guy like you to replace KT.

In some of the statements from Bo he seems pretty confident. Confidence is good as long as it translates to the field. Hope this all all works out.

Dillingham will get the chance to finish the job he started with BN. Sec freshman of the year under DLs tutelage. Nix must like him or I doubt if he would of come to Eugene.

Well here we go. Three years at Auburn tells us one thing. Bo was a pretty good quarterback on a team that was very average. He only lost 2 games to unranked teams. Georgia beat him 3 times, Alabama once, A@m, twice and those teams all have great defenses. Auburn had very few games that they ran the ball well so I’m sure he was under stress allot and he actually led the team in rushing on a few occasions probably running for his life because of the below average offensive line. If he does end up the starter next season he won’t be seeing anything as good compared to what he’s seen in the past 3 years. if the Ducks have a QB that can beat him out for the starting job I would be surprised. Hopefully we do. Gos

This bowl game will tell Dan allot about what he has left in the Barn. The kids that are real football players will be out there playing their ass off to show the new staff what they can do. These will be the players that will make the Ducks a team of the future. The quitters, wether it be coaches or players, are being exposed by turmoil created by MC. We don’t want those kinds of people in the organization because they seem to rub off on the quality guys that you still have. Good riddance to the lot of you I wish you good luck. NOT. go s

Mullen’s has continually made poor decisions starting with Helfrich. He is trying to hit home runs while hitting pop flies for outs. Maybe it’s time for a change at the top. In reality we we are still trying to get out from under the Willy Taggart debacle. That hire should never have happened. MC is just another disaster from that hire. He did some good recruiting but is a average coach and poor user of talent. Justin Herbert ring a bell!! I for one will be glad when the stain from the Willy hire will be washed away. We will give Mullen’s a pass but should we?

About 63 years ago my parents took me to Sandy Oregon to a Christmas parade and there was the prettiest girl I’d ever seen in a choir singing Little Drummer Boy. I still today can’t get that out of my head.

Can’t believe this is going to happen. Who the hell from Oregon’s coaching staff thinks AB deserves this game. Makes me wonder if these coaches want another ugly loss so players won’t come to Eugene, and others might leave. I can’t wrap my head around this. If you watched any Ducks games this year Moorhead’s offensive scheme is more simple than some high schools I’ve watched. Unbelievable that our three back up QBs wouldn’t be able to grasp it. Basically there were about 10 basic plays with small variations off of some of those. AB was unable to execute even this simple offense and if you pressure him like Utah did he and the coaching staff were unable to make the adjustments, they just fell apart. Never have I seen a team milk clock when trailing in a game. MC did this continually. This is the perfect opportunity for our Ducks to move on from the debacle we have watched this year, but wait let’s do this some more..

With the confusion that the transfer portal is causing it is mind boggling for pretty much every school. No way of knowing if we can recapture some of these defectors before next year. Kids from all schools are jockeying for position and you can’t blame the kids for the confusion. The ducks have had a rough start in the recruiting efforts for 2022 thanks to the timing of MCs defection. Time will tell if we can salvage some of these kids later or even if DL will even want some of them. My guess is we will know a lot more on Feb 2 about the status of our class. A few things are clear, we don’t know much, how much will NIL destroy college sports, ( mostly football) , will the NCAA do anything to stop the madness ( probably not ) , and will our student athletes be able to figure out what is really happening to them ( I doubt it ). The next few months are going to be full of joy and heart break so buckle up and hang on, going to be a bumpy ride. Enjoy the madness I know now I will. Gos.

I will be disappointed if we can’t do better.

Looking forward to the effort. He will have the personnel to do it with a much better o-line than FSU.

I became a Duck fan fresh out of high school and got to see Bobby Moore at civic stadium run crazy all over the field. I was hooked with the energy of the crowd and the players. The last 5 years I haven’t seen or felt that kind of energy. The fans sitting next to me were all complaining about the Ducks inability to consistently move the ball and the players showed lack of energy that we saw with Chips teams. The fans at the game tell the story and I am looking forward to seeing that energy restored.
