  1. It was hard to get a handle on how many fans were actually at the game. I’m sure some walked out at halftime for a cold one and came back in with another can, just kidding. The fans were moving around and lots were at the concessions so I think 35,000 is a fair number give or take. Everyone seemed to be having a good time including players and coaches. Our DC was having a blast with his players. Fun to watch.
  2. That’s the way I saw it as well.
  3. Aaaaah yes. Nice breakdown Charles. Signs of the past give us hope going forward.
  4. Thanks for the update 30Duck. Missed that one.
  5. I made a comment on how young the crowds were but with basically free admission it was easy for the whole family to attend if you could afford the gas to get there. There should be much more knowledgeable fans at The games this fall.
  6. Am I missing something? Does anyone know what happened to Cardwell. Kept looking fo him in the game and I see he had no stats. Not on the injury list that I could see.
  7. I guess it could be academic or family or anything else I guess. Pretty vague statement for sure.
  8. Some of those could have been play action which actually wouldn’t be considered an rpo. But the running room was there.
  9. Reliable Starting Pitchers are hard to come by and it’s hurting the Ducks.
  10. One thing for sure all our QBs have splendid arms. The deep balls were very impressive. Ty struggles a bit with accuracy over the middle but hopefully that will change. As far as our option game the QBs weren’t running the ball and the defense knew it so those plays didn’t fool anyone. Our QBs had several opportunities to run for big yardage on options but that part will become very valuable against our opponents in the fall. One thing for sure is our receivers look good and they all seemed to battle for the ball and I agree with Charles about Cota. Kid looked great. Seven is going to make defenses pay, our DBs had trouble covering him in the slot so I assume most of our opponents will have the same problem. Punting was a huge upside and if that part stays consistent it could win us a couple close ones. All in all there was a lot of positives for a spring game with a new coaching staff. The Rally girls looked great as usual and the weather was beautiful. It was a bit chilly in the shade for an old man so we moved to the end zone for the second half. I’ve always like the end zone where you can see the plays develop much better. Good showing by the fans, a young group for sure, but half them left early. Not a good look for the players. I was a little disappointed in that. One thing stood out the most is the Ducks have a but load of talented athletes. Can’t wait for fall.
  11. If he is 2/3rds Dennis Dixon I’m in.
  12. The most important things in any business is #1 being a team player and #2 walk the walk don’t talk the walk and I’ll also throw in personal relationships. So far everything I’m hearing from players and coaches as well that these things are happening and I can’t wait to see the execution of all this come this fall. go s
  13. I have 14 big fir trees and several large maples maybe need a real bathroom on occasion.
  14. I’m sure we will get the trojans best game every time we play them from here on. Since the University of spoiled children will maybe play us in Vegas, I still think we’ll coached Utah and Stanford will be tough outs, Could be interesting. We may see who is more focused.
  15. That’s exactly what I expect out of our new coaching staff is to do things that make since. It goes clear back to not going after Tua. That made perfect sense and we’ve been dealing with coaches and bad decisions ever since. I’m with you DUCati on this subject for sure. Just because Mark, Slick, and MC were coaches doesn’t mean they were suited for the head coaching position hopefully Mullen’s got it correct this time. Time will tell but I like what I’m seeing so far.
  16. If nothing else it should be tampering.
  17. These are signs to me that the coaching staff will not accept mediocrity and I’m sure there will be more. Some players and coaches just don’t mix. It’s not high school any more.
  18. Fear not the trojans until Riley proves himself. I still fear Utah over the trojans. I will concede that the trojans have a recruiting advantage over any team in the Pack. But they have had that advantage since Pete left and how has that worked out for them. Wit is a proven, quality, head coach. His players are more physically and mentally mature than any other team in the P12. It’s the nature of both Utah and BYU because the average player is two years older. If Wit can keep his QB play at a level it is now they are a scary bunch for sure and he will not roll over for usc or Oregon for that matter any time soon.
  19. The Ducks have moved ahead of Miami in football recruiting for 2022 on Rivals. Trails Them by a point on 247.

  20. I wonder what his parents have to say about him. That would be interesting.
  21. The National Champions will have a new QB when the Ducks come calling. Hope he is a slow learner. Anyone have an insight on who might be their guy?
  22. There is a reason Beaver trapping is by permit only in Oregon. Aren’t many left.
