  1. Under the non-leadership of the former official butt sniffer (who remains a non-official butt sniffer), mark emmert, what else would you expect?
  2. Can Oregon Survive the NIL .... HELL YES. By abandoning the uw prowess approach and relying upon minds MUCH greater than mine (ok, I realize that is a HUGE club), I am quite confident that our athletic department, "partners" and Uncle, will allow us to thrive in the NIL space.
  3. WOW Axel, way to show your butt-sniffing-canine-love while writing about another team. HOF stuff. I just wish you had somehow woven in the similarity that "traditions like this help ensure that two-thirds of the student body remain less intelligent than their mascot" to the other 12th man university.
  4. Love him, hate him, or tolerate him, here is a link to Canzano's podcast interview with Bill Walton. I find it best to listen to him while sitting in a swivel chair. ‎Bald Faced Truth with John Canzano: BFT Interview: Bill Walton on Apple Podcasts PODCASTS.APPLE.COM ‎Show @@podcastShowName@@, Ep BFT Interview: Bill Walton - Mar 16, 2022
  5. At least you didn't end up getting fired for it like a certain "slick" uw FB coach. Of course, he sued and won.
  6. Another plus, a Mater Dei recruit. Keep that pipeline open.
  7. Great follow-up article by Lindsay Schnell Oregon's Sedona Prince, who shot infamous video at last year's women's NCAA tournament, speaks out WWW.MSN.COM Sedona Prince posted a video at last year's women's tournament that sparked talk of inequities in college sports. She writes about it for USA TODAY.
  8. Keep on kicking, I hope to not live long enough to see them up!
  9. As Babe Ruth said to the President when he earned more, "I had a better year".
  10. If it does, I'll start a go fund me for your brain transplant. Otherwise, keep the curmudgeonese coming as it is insightful, entertaining and welcomed.
  11. Next up, tutors wanting a piece of the NIL from the players they are keeping eligible. Can't wait.
  12. Guess they need to move into Autzen where .....
  13. In related news ... per 24/7 #1 New head coach Dan Lanning was front and center for the workouts, encouraging the team with the help of new strength and conditioning coach Wilson Love and others. Love may not have the easily identifiable mustache of Aaron Feld, but he’s as loud and energetic on the field and the players seem to be receptive to his energy. #2, and this is really kool: Several notable recruits took in practice led by 2023 five-star Matayo Uiagalelei
  14. He better have a good, make that great) O-Line and be a good tipper. Can you imagine the incentive for the D's to crush him. Oh, and then if he makes "the show", not a lot of D-linemen will appreciate a kid who made more in college than they will make in their career.
  15. Sounds like finding players to fit the system instead of a system to fit the players. Works for me.
  16. Now that is not dumb, the rest of the banks are in the dumber category.
  17. Per the article "the year after he took UO to the Final Four, he landed in the NIT. But Oregon immediately regrouped and won two of the next three conference titles." I had forgotten that. So, hopefully, " in Altman we TRUST" will be next year's mantra.
  18. Great pressure on the next game. Of course, the record of a 20-win season every year at Oregon was inflated the first year with the CBI and a 2 out of 3 finals. But, it still counts.
  19. Gutsy topic Charles, I celebrate any easing of restrictions and getting back to the "new normal". I dare you to find a better oxymoron (other than smart humble husky fan).
  20. If he didn't, then he is delusional. My delusion is that we should win Pac 12 North with ease with the talent on defense alone. Then Dillingham will have had enough time, a full season, to elevate the offense to win the Pac. So, 11 -2 going into Rose Bowl.
  21. I'll add acouple..... 1) Byes for the top four, all teams should play the same number of games, this isn't basketball where you can play 3 or 4 days in a row; I think 4 extra games is too many, Conference CShip + maybe 3 more playoff games. I like an 8 team, no byes. Auto bids for the 5, then, as usual a beauty contest for the other 3 SEC spots.
  22. Can you explain? Hate 9ers? Don't believe in Marcus?
  23. Well, he has now taken the main blame, Dana Altman opens up about this year's struggles, places blame on himself 247SPORTS.COM Dana Altman is often considered to be one of the nation's very best college basketball coaches roaming the sidelines. It's tough to...
  24. But what are their SAT, ACT and PROWESS scores?
