  4. Agreed. But the first team did get pushed around a bit. This may have been due to perception of their poop not stinking. Or, a sure W, after travel, and early wakeup. We won't know for two weeks whether to be worried or not. That is unless you are Alfred E. Neuman.

  6. And I guess Mike Gundy wasn't aware either.
  7. And No, it wasn't firing DeShaun Foster. Alcorn State got mercy ruled: At halftime of Mississippi State’s 63-0 win over Alcorn State, the school sent an announcement that the head coaches had agreed to shorten the game to 10-minute quarters in the second half. If you didn’t know that was allowed by rule, don’t worry. It almost never happens. But it also illustrates why SEC schools should be playing opponents their own size rather than schools like Alcorn State.
  8. Here is how Arch fared this week Stat to know: Arch Manning threw 10 straight incompletions (including his interception) at one point during the second quarter. That's the longest streak of incompletions by a Texas player in at least 20 years. Time to throw away your Arch Heisman betting tickets.

  23. I like the fact that the playbook seems open. However, I'm assuming that we will see different plays out of some of the formations that have been used around 9/27. I remember talking to a remember of the 94 Rose Bowl team. The first play from scrimmage was a formation that Penn St. used a lot all year. However, they ran a different play out of it, the Ducks were out of position and the only thing that stopped Ki-Jana Carter was the end zone 83 yards later.
