After he came from ewe dub the chorus was "We didn't want him anyway", same with all the top WashOUTington state recruits that leave the state ie JT Tiumoloau, Brayden Platt, Jayden Limar, Josh Conlerly Jr, etc. The good news is the Northern recruiting wall they built is keeping kids from going to Canada.

Steven A replied to Charles Fischer's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Keep the "ho hums" coming. -
In a OSU article about Davison's commitment: "Jordon Davison is a four-star recruit, who recently trimmed his list down to four schools. Ohio State was among those four school, but the competition included other college football blue bloods in Alabama, Michigan and Oregon." I'm now waiting for the blue ball article about ewe dub recruiting.

Three de-commits in the span of nine days is a worrisome trend for USC football. The latest came on Thursday from four-star Hylton Stubbs. The loss of Stubbs, a four-star at Mandarin (Jacksonville, Florida), is especially tough for USC given how highly ranked the player is – Stubbs is the No. 17 safety prospect in the nation.

I guess this was the reason the Pac-12 Network stayed independent to avoid this type of thing. Opps, I also forgot that Comcast didn't buy Uncle Larry's math.

Sorry, all credibility lost with Miami tied with the third best number with an 89. Cam Ward maybe ok, but he'll probably have to call 90% audibles and turn off his helmet audio of "white noise Mari". You remember "white noise", it's what a lot of us use to get to sleep. Of course, it does wake up Ds.

Considering what the Utes have done lately, good pickup. Also, Graves podcast with 24/7 was very insightful. Seems as if the old dog can learn new tricks.

Ashley Adamson: A Final Word as Pac-12 Network Goes Dark
Steven A replied to NJDuck's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Glad she in onboard but needs to go overboard for that remark. -
I remember the spring game in '70 when this unheard of about to be a soph, as frosh weren't eligible then, threw a 60+ ydish rope to Leland Glass and everyone (all the dozens of us) at the game wondered who that kid was. A year later a high school friend was being recruited and Dan was his student guide. I was asked to come along since I had known the recruit forever. Dan took us to his dorm room and I'm sure there were some textbooks among all the QB books he had, YA Tittle, Eddie Lebaron, Johhny U. West Coast bias since his dad did the 49ers broadcasts at the time. Later that weekend the recruit and I were on our way to meet Dan and the recruiting coach, George Siefert, for dinner. We were jaywalking and a car honked at us, so I gave a fine feathered wave at the car. Opps, George and Dan on the way to dinner. At dinner I told the story of how I got a BBall scholarship for fall term '69. It seems there was a frosh named Stephen A. Smith, and thanks to a typo I got tuition that term. To add insult to injury, poor Stephen from Rio American High School in Sacto lost his girlfriend. Barbie Benton went on to bigger and better things, just ask Hef (not our later coach!!). George said he was ok with that since it was a BBall scholly, otherwise dinner would have been on me.

Realignment Destroys Conference Loyalty

Darren, like Charles I have moved on. Although I will root for Utah/Whittingham & ASU/Dillingham. After that, the BIGs so as to not lose ground to the only other power conference, the SEC. -
