  1. Not working for me. I am using a Mac Book and Chrome. I saw your post and tried again. My computer said I was logged into FishDuck. When I went to make a comment, there was a notice that I had to sign in. I tried to sign in again and my computer was hijacked with a loud warning not to shut down my computer and flashing lights. I finally found a way to get to force quit. I am now back to Safari and I can get to FishDuck just fine.
  2. The high school championship video is just nuts! How are we going to keep all these running backs fed?
  3. This will not be a push over opponent. Last year, we were not prepared for our first game vs Idaho. We squeaked by and then we squeaked by Boise State. I hate to remember how we finished last season. New QB, new offensive line, will need time to gel and this is not necessarily the best potential opener for our DUCKS. However DUCKS favored by 25.5 points.
  4. Sounds like a good read to me. https://www.wsj.com/sports/football/ohio-state-football-chop-wood-book-375bc2ad?st=zwVUSq&reflink=desktopwebshare_permalink

  6. Congratulations Charles, this is a superb forum! Full of information, moderated well and not intimidating for us less sophisticated DUCKS.
  7. I would imagine he has his sights set on how to rattle Dante Moore. https://www.wsj.com/sports/football/jim-knowles-penn-state-ohio-state-b35c6d83?st=qfykoN&reflink=desktopwebshare_permalink
  8. OK I am being paranoid but I see this as a trap game to start off the season. Our DUCKS were not prepared for the last game of last season and it showed. The Bobcats are preseason ranked #2 in the FCS and they will have a chip on their shoulder with nothing to lose. We had a similar set up just a few years ago against North Dakota State but Covid managed to intervene and cancel the game. Oregon favored by 25 points. Seems high to me. Would sure like to see Dante Moore shine in game one. GO DUCKS!
  9. Thanks Charles, ChileDuck provides a wealth of information! 25 days, GO DUCKS!

  11. This article makes me wonder what Division Street is doing. https://www.wsj.com/sports/college-sports-booster-collectives-8941202e?st=GgQgJ7&reflink=desktopwebshare_permalink
  12. No mention of the USC endowment of 8+ Billion dollars. Apparently they are going to try to actually balance their budget like the rest of us have to do.
  13. Interesting to see how fan attitudes in the SEC are turning to panic. The SEC Confronts a New College Football Opponent: Panic - WSJ
  14. Nick Saban is 73 and turning 74 in 3+ months. I would think it unlikely that at this age he would start a new stressful 3-5 year adventure.
  15. Happy Birthday Charles! In another life I used to be a KC-135 Navigator refueling everything in the USAF inventory and some Navy as well. 57 days to kickoff, GO DUCKS!
  16. My Longhorn buddy tells me Arch is making $20,000,000 NIL money this year. He is a redshirt sophomore. He could stay two more years and maybe make another $40,000,000. No incentive to turn pro until his elgibility is up and then comes a big cut in pay.

  18. It was nice to be counting on a seasoned veteran but this is a classic case of next man up. The talent pool is deep and we will see who steps up in August. GO DUCKS!
  19. A good friend of mine who is a Texas Longhorn told me today that Arch Manning is getting $20,000,000 for this season.
  20. Thanks Charles, this is an article I love because this level of detail flies right over my head unless pointed out to me.
  21. Pure guess on my part but I would guess that Phil Knight passing on this opportunity might damper enthusiasm in the marketplace.
  22. All of our QB's are looking good. Looks like we have some real depth!
  23. Break out the popcorn. He is probably taking a cut in pay and if he does not have an "All World" season for UCLA this year, I bet that sports writers across the nation are going to teach him a lesson all season.
  24. I still watch this show for two reasons. One, what do the commentators have to say about our DUCKS. Two, to hear what Lee Corso has to say about any subject on his mind. I find him incredibly entertaining and wish him the best.
