I don’t know if it’s my favorite, but the most satisfying was the 2020 Rose Bowl win vs. Wisconsin. It was a very ugly game offensively, but watching those Seniors hoist the trophy after what they had been through as Freshmen was great to see.

This is a good read. Apparently, the MWC thought that they were operating from a position of strength when negotiating their scheduling agreement with the Pac 2. The year two scheduling agreement negotiations fell through when the Pac 2 decided to poach four MWC teams. Now it looks like the Pac 2 could be paying not only the poaching fees in the agreement, but also the exit fees of the teams it is gaining. Did anybody else notice that USC lost to LSU by a score of 33-36 and missed a last second FG to tie the game?

I suspect Kentucky got caught looking ahead to this game when USC blew them out last weekend. They played hard against UGA.

I wanted to see a no TD performance with turnovers that lead to scores. I didn’t see it. OSU’s lack of talent and depth helped the Ducks defense immensely. I do like the fact that they finished with a dominant 2nd half, though. I do hope that they’re trending upward. They will need perfection against Ohio State.

Well, the biggest thing I wanted to see was a dominant performance by the Ducks defense. That’s not going to happen.

I’m glad Gameday is at USC East. It’s my second favorite venue that I’ve visited. Go Cocks!

The SF and SD markets can’t even get enough eyeballs in their stadiums to fill out a Mr. Potato Head. Their TV markets are NFL-centric. Vegas and Denver only care about the NFL and Portland only cares about the Ducks and NFL.

One thing the great programs do is build on past success. Bama and UGA typically reloaded their talent base through recruiting and they had leaders ready to step up. They have plugged a few holes with transfers, but they didn’t try to rebuild with them. I think DL will start recruiting fewer transfers once he has built a solid foundation through recruiting. I also hope this is the last year the Ducks sign a transfer QB as a one year fix. I’m confident they can find a great QB within their current roster (and Akili Jr.).
