  1. Riley, much like Mario, can blow it against anybody.
  2. But... but... but just think of all the bonus points we could have earned with all the subscriptions we could have generated for Apple TV.
  3. When Whittingham retires, maybe Rising will become the first player/ coach in college football history.
  4. Bravo Charles. This should be the post of the year! I love being the villain. Michigan and Wisconsin may have forgotten how much they hate us by now but they will both be reminded soon enough.
  5. I think national media have a love hate relationship with the Ducks. On one hand OBD are the rebellious new kid in school that immediately becomes one of the coolest kids around. This is great for ratings. On the other hand, their ability to bypass the blue blood schools threatens long held narratives that are easy to plug in year after year. The talking heads would much rather talk for hours about tOSU and SUC challenging the SEC big boys for this year’s title. But the Ducks have passed by SUC many moons ago and have home and away win streaks against the BIGs big boys right now. The networks love underdogs upsetting big dogs in the early rounds of March Madness but when it’s championship time, they want to see North Carolina vs Kansas not Davidson vs UC Santa Barbara.
  6. It's not just a trap, it's a BIG trap. Scheduling a Friday night road game right after tOSU did us no favors.
  7. tOSU bobbles the reception and UO grabs it away before it’s secured. Refs call it a catch and just move right along to the next play. Stewart drags a defender twenty five yards down the sidelines cleanly but let’s hold up a few minutes and rewatch it just to see if he may have stepped out of bounds. Welcome to the BIG.
  8. What should we call us cross over fans of UO and Georgia? UGA Ducklings?
  9. Idaho has a higher sack count against the Ducks than the entire BIG Ten to date. Unbelievable.
  10. SUC: Another loss, another excuse. fuskies: Did I tell you about last year? UCLA: Wait. There was a game?
  11. Lanning on the field after the game looking half crazed as if searching for a wall to run through himself may have been his best recruiting pitch to the world. Who wouldn’t want to play for a coach like that?
  12. Imagine being a five star kid this morning contemplating whether to play for Day or Lanning. The game itself was very even but in the coaching department, Lanning absolutely owned Day. He also kept Kelly's offense to ten second half points and only three in the fourth quarter. Recruiting might have been the biggest victory on the day (pun intended).
  13. Buckeyes fans turning into SUCeyes fans before our own eyes.
  14. Shough plays for Louisville now? Will he pop Mario's playoff bubble next week? That would be some nice karma.
  15. Howard and Jameis Winston can now both talk about how the game could have gone either way.
  16. I think the scariest thing about the Ducks in this game is that they were far from perfect and still won. They left many points on the field and the refs gifted the Buckeyes their first TD and still came away with the victory. I don't recall the Ducks winning a game of this magnitude without an A+ performance. With all the mistakes, this was B+ or A- at best and they still got it done. Unbelievable.

  18. UO in the BIG: 3-0. SUC, fuskies and UCLA combined: 3-8.
  19. So many unbelievable plays in one game and in a game of this magnitude. I just want to take a moment to reflect on a few. Basa's first quarter interception was beautiful and should have been reviewed. Harmon's steal of the ball on the next drive was Lawrence Taylor level domination. On the failed extra point, the tOSU player was sailing towards the end zone with the ball. The only thing that stopped him was Sadiq caught up to him and disrupted his path just enough for the other guys to make the stop and save a precious two points from being scored. Stewart dragging a defender an extra twenty five yards on a 69 yard reception. Yes. Oh yes! The Holden spitting disqualification, no man, Just no! Dodge ball onside kick, absolutely brilliant play call and execution. On the failed fourth and goal, I wonder if Gabriel didn't look at an open Tez because the route was too similar to the goal line interceptions from the previous week. Oregon's final drive gobbled up about four minutes of clock and forced tOSU to use two precious time outs. Lanning absolutely out coached Day on tOSU's final drive. Intentional penalty to steal a last play from the Buckeye's? That is next level coaching and saved the win. Autzen just put itself on the map as THE stadium to fear. What an awesome game.
  20. "I think the Autzen crowd noise is overrated." "What?" " I SAID I THINK THE AUTZEN CROWD NOISE IS OVERRATED! "
  21. David not only do we have a win streak against tOSU, it's been almost ten years since they have beaten OBD! Buckeye fans will need to get some tips from SUC and fuskie fans on how to both regularly lose while maintaining a sense of superiority to the Ducks!
  22. A little bit louder now. A little bit louder now! A Little Bit Louder Now!! A LITTLE BIT LOUDER NOW!!!
  23. What a day! Roster has me nervous but does that give one of these young 4/5 stars a chance to shine? We'll see.
