I have no idea if this is reality or not but it most certainly appeared UW WANTED to win and the urgency was reflected by their energy levels. Whereas Oregon seemed like they EXPECTED to win. Couple that with Bo probably being too amped up was not a good combo. Also, did the O and D lines seem way off in intensity? What a darn letdown. As a former D1 middle-distance runner I simply can't comprehend not giving your best in terms of mental focus especially against a rival that beat us 2 years in a row. And the ref blocking the pass and that guy coming out from out of bounds were two very odd plays. All in all that sucked.

From what little I have seen he is not a very good runner so that is concerning.

I was out on him before he coached the first regular season game at Oregon. The young guys begged for him to come on board and then he promptly coached them to a sucky showing in the bowl game.

For awhile I got sucked into Canzano and his very calculated clickbait methodology. But I came to the conclusion he cares not one iota about anything he writes about. He cares about clicks (all fine as he needs to make a living). So I find him to be an inescapably insincere public figure and thus don't read him anymore.

After watching Wisconsin and other schools' ways of getting everyone hyped pregame or during timeouts I am again struck by how utterly bland and tired almost every aspect of the U of O's fan interaction happens to be. Of course, I like Shout (though the timing at basketball games is often poorly thought out) but other than that it seems hopelessly outdated and low rent cookie cutter. Any suggestions on what we might use as our pregame hype song or what else to improve the fan interaction? Or maybe I am just an old fart.
