That was the Steve Prefontaine mentality, especially when he was younger... get out in front of them and run them into the ground. He hated seeing the backs of people in front of him. Although he did learn to adjust this strategy a bit.

OBD have three tremendous ambassadors playing QB, and winning right now, in the NFL. That's pretty amazing.

Good catch re Georgia and two Top-10 wins. With the exception of that loss to Alabama a few weeks ago, Georgia looks awfully tough. Plus, Oregon & Georgia both seem to be making huge strides by the week. I do think BSU is the real deal, but they are understandably not going to get a lot of love given the conference that they're playing in.

I can't wait for the NCAA to make the intentional foul in basketball illegal. OSU fans out there are still crying about the Lanning Genius-ness.

I think we hands down have the best resume... at last based upon the data. I believe we are the only team in all of CFB with two wins over Top-20 schools, let alone two wins over current Top-20 teams. Including one win over a Top-5 program. And after this Saturday, that will be three wins over Top-20 schools. I wish I could join you all this weekend at Autzen, and I hope you will all 'bring it' again, just like you did to OSU!

Herbstreit moving his family out of state and leaving Columbus OH partly due to the Buckeye fans, is just crazy nuts. Keep in mind that Kirk is/was a beloved 4 year OSU All-American QB who started his senior year and did very well. I am going to pause for a moment and give thanks to the football Gawds that I'm not an OSU fan.

Following one of the biggest, emotional, and hard fought victories in Oregon history, for OBD to hop on a plane a few days later, travel 2,400 miles, on a short week, and shut out any team 35-0 is just damn impressive. I don't care that Purdue pretty much stinks. Given the above, the fact that OBD went into their stadium and from the outset, played like they owned the place, speaks volumes for the rest of this season.
