  1. Cold, my friend. Just ice cold. LOL
  2. Here's all I really care to know about Chip: 46-7 as Oregon Head Coach. 87% Winning Record - As of now, an all time Oregon % record - Though Lanning is right on his heels at 86%. 4 Straight BCS Games 3 PAC12 Conference Championships 1 National Championship Game Chip may have been in the right place at the right time, but I will always greatly appreciate how he chose to look wayyy outside the traditional college football box, because in order to have major success at Oregon at that time, he had to. In those 4 short years, Kelly rocked not only Oregon, but college football. Do I care that he has mostly sucked since leaving Oregon? Not really. I will be forever grateful for the ride he took us on, and for nearly coaching us into winning the National Championship.
  3. Our run game has made such a huge difference.
  4. Had a 1st in goal. Now we're looking at a 37 yard fg attempt. What in the world is going on with all of these penalties? And then we get bailed out by a USC Unbelievable.
  5. It does seem strange. And I hate to say it, but Hines isn't even one of USC's big stud receivers.
  6. If we can't start getting some pressure on their QB, it's going to be a long, high scoring, game.
  7. But the sun was in Moore's eyes, not Lowe's.
  8. Exactly. 110%. Whoever's left out there is going to really have to step up for us
  9. I don't know but if our center is out for the game, or worse,, we could have some serious issues.
  10. Okay... I'd call that a reasonable response 😆 We need our linebackers seriously step up today, or this is going to be one long shootout.
  11. That penalty where we didn't get off the freaking field in time was brutal.
  12. If our defense continues to play like a sieve, we're going to need it.
  13. Sweet 75 yard drive & TD for SC. Piece of cake. The penalty on us was almost the equivalent of an Oregon turnover.
  14. Jordan - Such a fine article and great breakdown of today's game. GO DUCKS!
  15. Okay... forget everything I said. I love black. And I love Uncle Phil & Aunt Penny.
  16. I'm tired of so much black, but I must say, they do look bad as. However, like most of us around here, I love Oregon's green and yellow and would sure like to see more of it. But, at the end of the day, all I really care about is what do young recruits, and our players, like.
  17. This game will be close for the first 3 quarters... something like Oregon 28-24. Oregon offense will have then ground them down by the 4Q, and then we will just run the ball down their throats. OBD wins, 42-24. But hey, don't quote me on this... unless I get it even remotely right. 😄
  18. Agreed. I say Oregon by about 18, with a final score of something like 42-24.
  19. Exactly. That's what I was essentially trying to get at, but did a poor job stating it. At Iowa, we needed more running yardage and we got it. Last week, the passing game opened up, so we exploited that. The great thing that this offense now appears to have is the ability to put up big yards rushing and/or passing... basically, whatever is needed/available, we now appear to be taking advantage of. This multi-dimensional aspect going late into the season could just be absolutely huge. David -- You made such an excellent point regarding the Indiana game in which it looked like we sort of forgot that we successfully run the ball, and therefore forced the passing game, got sacked 6 times, looked like crap (my words, not yours), while losing by 10. Right now, it appears to look and feel like Stein, Moore, and company, have found the right balance between our run and pass game... and, we will take what the opposition gives us. Saturday is certainly a massive game and I think it will tell us if we will make a run in the playoffs.
  20. Great take and reality check. The great news is that Oregon's destiny totally sits right in our hands. Win out, and screw the AP... because the B1G will have 3 teams in the playoffs. End up with 2 losses, and nobody is going to do us any favors.
  21. It's looking like OBD is finding its' offensive identity, and I feel like there is still quite a bit of upside available. USC is going to score some points this Saturday, and while I am pretty crappy at predictions, I've got the Ducks winning by about 18. Something like 42-24, with pretty balanced passing and rushing numbers. Although we rushed for 179 yards last weekend, which is nothing to shake a stick at, the running game was still very productive. In addition, Moore look very comfortable, generally had decent time in the pocket, wasn't locking on to his first receiver choice, and just a fine job moving the ball around. The run game nicely set him up to have a lot of success throwing the ball. GO DUCKS!
