I've heard that comment from many Duck fans over the years, but it never quite set right with me. Therefore, I had to waste a few minutes and look it up. Why? Because I'm a stats Nerd. Since 2000: - At Arizona State, Oregon is 8-3. - At Arizona, Oregon is 7-2. So while our Ducks had better not underestimate or overlook this Sun Devil team on Saturday, in reality, the desert has been 73% & 70%, respectively, good to our Ducks for almost the last quarter-century. And it's time to take that Tempe stat to 9-3 since 2000.

My best guess is that once we enter the B1G next year, the amount of ref complaining will be roughly the same.

Hopefully, the powers that be at Oregon have been on the phone with Dan's agent throughout the day and are nailing down his new contract and money as we speak. It's unlikely to me that Oregon would not have anticipated this kind of activity, and already have had a plan in place to address it. We had a bunch of key recruits at the game yesterday. Which is exactly why we need to immediately drive a wooden stake through the heart of this A&M garbage, instantly followed by Lanning releasing a public statement regarding him staying at Oregon until the cows come home.

Because of the distraction it could/would cause to your team that's trying to make the playoffs, and the negative impact that allowing your name to linger out there would have on recruiting.

I'm not concerned about Lanning and A&M. If it was Alabama, then I'd just say, "Good night, Martha." And that day might come sooner than any of us want. However, if you know much about A&M, or College Station TX, you know that they have everything you're talking about in spades, and tremendous tradition to go with it. Well, in all fairness... they also get 100° temps with 98% humidity -- which is the worst.

Oregon did not play like a playoff team tonight. Extremely unimpressive, exceptionally sloppy, and disappointing game. The refs sucked, but giving up 120 yards penalties in game 10 of the season, is beyond unacceptable.

If we have somebody as good as he is, or better than he is, waiting in the wings, I wonder why they haven't brought them in.

I'm sad to say that I'm rather unimpressed with how we've performed tonight. We really needed a statement win and this is not it.

He's performed quite poorly, but who would we replace him with?
