  1. Can't allow myself mentally go there yet... until after Friday.
  2. Sounds a bit like another QB I used to know who once played in the SEC. But I'm not suggesting at all the Shough come back.
  3. 'your value is at the Mountain-West Conference level.' The truth can be both awesome, and brutal, at times. This is one of those times.
  4. I don't know right now if I would, or not. But boy... the new world of college football sure is wild.
  5. 1972 for me. My first game Oregon 0 - UW 58. And yes, I'm with you 100%... this is the most complete team I've ever seen at Oregon.
  6. I'm afraid for any of us Duck fans who have been around through the decades, those feelings of Duck PTSD never fully leave. That's why I'm grateful for the Duck PTSD group therapy. But even with all of the Duck PTSD group therapy I've had, those feelings, admittedly, can quickly rise. (Fyi... the group therapy consists of meeting at the local watering hole, with fellow Duck brethren, while simultaneously supporting local businesses -- aka. craft breweries, as we attempt to exercise our ancient demon Duck losses). Unfortunately, my wife doesn't believe in my therapy program (how sad is that). And as often as I've tried, my medical insurance plan won't accept the group therapy receipts as apparently, there is no clinical psychologist on their list who goes by the name 'Dr. Porter' -- but there should be).
  7. In my humble opinion, and while I'd love to see the Civil War continue, no Oregon team should ever be subjected, and relegated, to having to play on that blue smurf rug thing again. There outta be a law against that kind of hideous thing.
  8. Please... not the Cardinals. We don't need that kind of coaching here.
  9. Exactly. Not to mention, it was a perfect pass and reception as well.
  10. This kind of "Nerdologist Statistical Analysis" warms my self-nerd-stats-guy heart. And it's a great comment, question, and point. I might gave to do some nerdorific thinking, pondering, and research on this.
  11. I don't mean to be a Debbie-Downer, but what a sad, sad, cautionary tale. He was one of the most gifted athletes I've ever seen in the many decades I've been on this planet -- full stop. I hope he found the help he needed. But Ps. Yes, I feel it!
  12. And sorry to inform you, Mr. Riley, but your we "lost by fewer than 20 points" is fake news. You lost by 28 points to ND, Mr. Riley. Scoreboard, baby!
  13. USC is a horrendous 1-5 since mid-October. And their only win was 50-49 over a rather lousy Cal team. I did a quick cursory review, and over the past 100 years, that's only happened to USC 5 times. But oddly, it's happened 3 times in just the past 5 years. How sweet it is.
  14. More importantly, without any of our stud starters getting serious injuries (as far as I know, anyway).
  15. "... 404 yards and a half-dozen scores both through the air and on the ground." I like the article, but want to let the change this guys above line to correctly read: "... 404 yards and a half-dozen scores through the air." Full stop.
  16. Bo made a rather decent ASU defense look very slow, and like perhaps like they had been out on Mill Street Friday night doing tequila shooters. Bo was like a football quarterback master surgeon on Saturday as he skillfully and methodically filleted ASU wide open. But that's where the surgeon metaphor ends, because he certainly didn't put them back together. 🙂
  17. I'm not sure if I know anyone who still doesn't refer to the Civil War game, as the Civil War game. Sometimes, as hard as 'they' try, they're just not going to make a ridiculous change attempt stick.
  18. Absolutely agree. For some reason on my part, I just felt the need to throw some trash talk toward Cane fans and Mario 😉
  19. The stud-beast-dude also had an 83% pass completion rate yesterday. His numbers across the board this year are absolutely insane... such as his TD to INT numbers of 35 to 2. And arguably, if there was a rating for team leadership skills, his numbers would likely be first in the nation.
  20. I had to look at their schedule after reading your comment, and you are spot on. I had no idea regarding the exceptional cupcake schedule they had this year. Oh Chip... after leaving Oregon, what has become of you 😉
  21. Given that we're playing two strong ranked teams to finish the PAC-12 season, and the amount of serious pleasure I'm enjoying from USCs high-speed-come-apart, I can live with the SOS concern.
  22. Somebody had tossed a prediction out there of 66-0... which I'm pretty sure was a joke and I laughed. However, after that second quarter, I was no longer laughing, as indeed, if we had wanted to, we could have easily put up those kind of points. But what a great contest this week. Congrats to the within 5 points guys.
  23. McCaffrey was over-the-top totally screwed by powers that be. And thank goodness that Mario (MC-land... Where QBs go to die) wasn't around to do his best to attempt to ruin Bo, him like he tried to do to Herbert.
  24. 100% spot on. If you look at espn.com, and many others, it's almost like Oregon didn't even play yesterday... let alone utterly dismantle an ASU team on the road, who had just beaten UCLA the week before.
  25. Luv Kenny D. But perhaps the biggest W he could have ever gotten at ASU came last week, as ASU finally got rid of their garbage 'Larry Scott Wanna-Be AD,' Ray Anderson. That guy, and his scandal ridden tenure, nearly single-handedly ruined the Big-3 ASU sports. When there are literally billboard trucks driving around Tempe that say, "#FireRayAnderson," it might just suggest that your time is up. So glad for Kenny and the ASU program.
